Potential severe heatwave next week. (week of 21st July)

Something to really watch. GFS model is really looking a bit crackers next week with high temps of perhaps 35c mid week and night minima in the mid 20s. I'll post more tomorrow, but it doesn't look like the traditional school holiday cool down

It looks like it's going to get pretty lively in Kent!

storms are popping up both across the south all over the place and also to the west of the northern storm which appears to be growing.

I'm a bit worried I'm going to miss out. That would be sad.

Very distant rumbles going on here in Sussex. But the sun is back out.

We are due to go camping tomorrow and there’s a forecast for overnight thunderstorms in our first night. I really don’t want to go now 🙈

Literally ran for a shower as it started raining. Watched it through the window whilst in there, thinking I'll be nice and cool and benefit from the fresher air even longer! No such luck. It stopped before I got out and it's still just as warm!!
