Are the bets on or off for an invite to Balmoral?
Will Meghan bake a humble pie for Catherine?
Let’s discuss……!

What happened to the assertion that the children could not go to school in the U K because of the paparazzi melee

Good question. Also, Uk is racist and RF want him dead. All very bizarre

That was HaM's truth at the time of Megxit.

Their truth has changed, you see. It was the British Press!

The Cotswolds is being rumoured, I bet Victoria Beckham won’t be impressed.

I bet they do move there so they're much closer to Charles at Highgrove than W&C are. Doria seems to have been cast aside, obviously M's father has too, so Charles is the only grandparent and they'll want their children to see him frequently.

I know it’s a bit early to create thread 29 but the speed this thread is moving I thought I had better set one up before I go to bed so the conversation can continue if we get to page 40 before the morning.

I expect they'll spin that this was their plan all along.

I’m contemplating sending W&C a sympathy card.
Genuinely can’t decide if it’s wildly inappropriate or maybe some expression of solidarity may be appreciated?
I guess being reminded will just rub salt in the wound.
But I do feel dreadfully sorry for them.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 20/08/2026 00:21

Looks like they’re not afraid of acid or knife attacks anymore all of a sudden.

I don’t think this will do their health any good, the stress they are now under must be immense.

The report in the Hollywood Reporter about them burning their bridges with US power brokers was pretty damming

Was this the 2024 one or a more recent piece?

canklesmctacotits · 20/08/2026 00:54

I think they’ll be NFI to Christmas at Sandringham, and we’ll hear that Meghan and the children just want to go “home for the sunshine and to see the sea again”. So while the RF are walking to church, Meghan will post a pic of them barefoot on the beach. Never mind that it won’t be beach weather there. And never mind that they apparently have Portugal too, way closer and far more eco friendly - but that would make the NFI too obvious, especially if Eugenie and fam are in Norfolk.

Anyone know where to source a large quantity of rotten tomatoes from? …just asking for a friend.

Cocolapew · 20/08/2026 01:03

Holy moly! I never saw this coming!
I reckon there's trouble in the marriage. M will spend more time in the US for her 'brand'.
These threads will go on for infinity 😁

So the return will be just in time for the Sentebale case to start and the DM taking the gloves off after the costs hearing.
Popcorn times🤭

ABitFab · 20/08/2026 03:43

I do feel sorry for W&C having to deal with this lot closer to home.
what the actual f$&K 😮

yes and Reddit, others speculating it’s Harry & Meghan moving here for a year to selflessly focus on the run up to Invictus, lol.

I have to say I thought the same though never for a moment attributed it to their selflessness.

Sorry - interrupting the general flow here. I'm just watching 'A House Through Time' (BBC i-player, if anyone fancies a treat). In the second episode they are looking at bagpipes and talk turns to royal visits to Scotland. Victoria buying Balmoral in the 1850s is mentioned and once again, as someone interested in history, I cannot believe how disinterested Meghan seems to have been about the fantastic history of the family, and country, she was marrying in to. How great would it be to have someone explaining how Victoria purchased, renovated and used Balmoral, for example, and the significant impact that had on public perception of Scotland south of the border?

It was all wasted on her. All that knowledge, history, expertise she had access to. Completely wasted. She was too vacuous to understand the incredible opportunity she had. It makes me cross!

I agree with you.

I’ve always envied the RF the historical documents they have access to. Can you imagine being able to grab a takeaway coffee and going down into those huge vaults we see on TV sometimes.

Do they need to sell the Montecito mansion to pay the ANL legal bill?

But they’ve just done the kitchen up a wee bit.

MrsLeonFarrell · 20/08/2026 06:22

I can't catch up on 6 pages on this may have anyway been said, if so apologies.

A move back here will probably help Harry, who I think was struggling with living permanently abroad. The children will benefit from being at school here where they don't need to do shooter drills. I'm not sure how easy Meghan will find it though. The problem with marrying someone from another country is that often, not always, there is one person who feels uncomfortable because they aren't in their home country. I hope Harry gets to heal the rift with his Dad and sees that an apology is due.

Having said all that though, what a waste of goodwill and money the last 6 year's have been. Surely even the most inward looking couple must be asking themselves what it was all for. All that stress, all the lies and exaggerations, all the conflict, for what? To move back as private citizens without real jobs or much to do all day. It's very very sad.

Glad that the palace are making it clear that nothing from their end has changed.

Harry and Meghan moving back to Britain this month

AtIusvue · 20/08/2026 06:23

WTF did I just wake up to?!!!

we get a lot of crap for the RF threads…::but we work out bloody everything!!!!!

Weve ALL said for months:

  • As ever is over- she was phoning it in
  • They couldn’t afford the McMansion, it was dated and they couldn’t afford to refirb
  • That they wouldn’t be able to afford the lifestyle and security costs
  • That Harry has no friends there etc
  • That they were in serious financial trouble when the Foundation shutting down etc

Clearly there’s SOMETHING else going on to return to racist Britain though!

Dameputtingonabraveface · 20/08/2026 06:30

So just woken up to the somewhat predictable news.

I can recommend a listen to 5 live breakfast show on BBC sounds at the just after 6 am mark. They had a rather scathing American Royal correspondent on. A fantastic snippet, she described HaM as at least being 'consistent in their hypocrisy'.

Let's see how they spin this decision to avoid admitting it did not work out in the US. There will be lots of previous interviews coming back to haunt them (no way Meghan will be able to do the school run is the UK etc).

PinkHairbrushClub · 20/08/2026 06:32

Well that’s a bombshell. What a mess this is going to make.

I cannot see Meghan being happy here or H being welcomed open armed back to the family. I doubt anything substantive will change other than they’ll be open to more and more scrutiny by UK media as they will be on the doorstep.

They must be desperate and backed into a corner.

AtIusvue · 20/08/2026 06:39

I think this is the beginning of the end for Harry and Meghan. She won’t last here, she will hate it like last time and she has no one here like Harry had no one out there.

As ever …which is supposed to be ideas taken from her garden, only ships in the US. This looks like a convenient way of closing everything down (because it’s tanking) and make it look like she can’t keep it going because she is now UK.

But she will want to try again and the lure of Caldifornia will prove too much and she will return. Guess we know that the children will now be staying in the UK post divorce

mermadeincornwall · 20/08/2026 06:49

Is the runny jam coming too?
