Are the bets on or off for an invite to Balmoral?
Will Meghan bake a humble pie for Catherine?
Let’s discuss……!

even leading on prayer meetings before filming in the morning.

I can imagine how nauseatingly fake and sanctimonious that was.

I know can you imagine!! Her uncle was a clergyman in Florida and her other uncle was US Foreign Service Diplomat (he got her the internship in Argentina). Neither were invited to the wedding!

Sorry I’ve been become a walking MM encyclopaedia since reading that book! I thought she was awful before listening to it, even more after!

Thanks for the new thread. I’ve missed the opportunity for Musings may vary as a username, but hold to the sentiment.

I was thinking about "allmusingscount"

I suppose it's just possible they were invited and turned it down, @NewAchievement, but of course they knew her, and while her mother was there - she could hardly not be - too many family members might have meant things getting blabbed about which Meghan may have preferred to be unmentioned

I just chose this but MNHQ doesn't allow apostrophes in usenames so it feels a bit wrong.

They will manifest with or without the grey rock meetings. The grey rock meetings prevent attacks on Charles for being a callous parent.

And also provoke attacks on him for being weak. Especially the last meeting.

It is quite the balancing act KC3 are having to perform.

That weird Heatworld story ('Meghan tells W&C to 'swallow some humble pie') made it across to Yahoo 'entertainment news' so I hope that this link doesn't get hidden like the last one!

Also a US YouTuber called 'RHR Jen' is talking about it. I might watch a bit later because anything's better than doing my sodding accounts.

Meghan Markle Has a 4-Word Advice for Prince William & Kate Middleton — Insider

Meghan Markle reportedly has four words of advice for her brother-in-law, Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton. The news came weeks after the Duchess of Sussex reunited with her father-in-law, ...

Where would you put an apostrophe?
Musingsmayvary must be acceptable?

i find the comments "just swallow some humble pie" quite aggressive. How the hell do they think this will help them ?

Have they done a 'clapback' yet? It's so nuts that I was thinking yesterday that it's a story ripe for an immediate Sussex denial or at least a sarcastic comment like they did (unconvincingly) re Sarah Vine's 'decade' article.

100% this - it sounds like gloating. If the report is true, which it very well may not be, what on earth do HaM think they have to gloat about? W&C are still subordinate only to the monarchs, they appear to have a happy marriage, they are rolling in money and their kids seem happy and well-adjusted. And, crucially, when they want to attract attention for a cause, attention flocks to them - look at C's Italy trip.

I do wonder what articles are put in front of KC, obviously the heavy hitters and the red tops but the articles that appear in Page Six, US Weekly, Closer, Heatworld etc. where we know the HAMS have their own private line to feed their stories, I wonder if he is informed, and if he is, does he take any notice? Or does he think they are just tittle tattle magazines and not realise or want to believe that those stories are coming from Camp Sussex?

I reckon someone in his team is responsible for doing the trawl around the less savoury elements of the press, but that it would only get escalated if there's something to be concerned about.

I think you’re 100% right @Puzzledandpissedoff. No way did she want family or friends there to shatter her false narrative. The fact that PH has never met her father even before the fallout says everything!!

Thanks for the new thread.

Off topic but I see James Wessex is off to Cirencester agricultural college and the DM have helpfully headlined their article “Most eligible bachelor in Britain”. He’s 18 FFS.

Poor George when he hits 18.

And I suspect the HAMS know this and can confidently keep feeding their narrative to these publications safe in the knowledge that KC probably won’t be informed so they can keep pushing their agenda, if it doesn’t appear in the MSM it didn’t happen…….plausible deniability. Unfortunately for them if wouldn’t surprise me if Camilla was partial to a bit of Heatworld with a fag in one hand and G&T in the other.

I used to work in the wacky world of press cuttings and a client like the RF will get a daily package of the national and international press, weekly magazines (everything you'd get in a big WHSmiths) and more recently whatever set of websites and even social media you might choose to specify.

I doubt any of the actual royals will see the full package unless they want to but their PRs will undoubtedly see the same sort of things we are seeing, maybe even this thread although I'd be surprised if that was the case.

They might also get sentiment analysis of the coverage although that is more expensive and can be total bollocks!

Being a pedant and a Markle word-misuse student, I think she probably meant "swallow her pride" or "eat humble pie" or some such established word formation to indicate a reduction in hubris.

I saw the 'working as a farmhand' headline yesterday! I hear it's an excellent college, full of wealthy farming family members, so hopefully he'll blend in happily enough. The university I went to and then worked at was full of posh agrics, some with titles.

Good move from the Wessex/Edinburghs as opposed to opting for the military. I do wonder if Harry would have benefited from something like this - but maybe not. None of the agrics that I remember were doing drugs. Pints of beer, yes. Cannabis and coke, no. Absolutely no way.

Yes I saw that in another DM James story yesterday, it’s really grim. Leave the poor lad alone.

Never mind about a clap back - that story needs a standing ovation back. It makes them look deluded and a little spiteful I think.

With any luck the DM will pick it up and then it will come to the MIGS' attention.

I think ( hope, in fact) that at this point M15 and M16 will be monitoring Montecito activity closely and giving him regular updates.

With the important stuff - their strategies, what they are doing and planning, and who with - prominent and the tactics - PR output, its sources, intended audience and intentions - summarised on the last page, with anything that needs to be addressed - "I'm gonna be staying at Buck Palace when the ANL decision drop" in red bold underline.
