The royal family

So this explains why he gave up was stripped of his title...

Whatacircus · 19/10/2025 11:45

Charlie next.........

Doseofreality · 19/10/2025 11:47

Yes, old Charlie boy has quite the skeletons brues in his closet.

No wonder Harry got his children well away from them.

CathyorClaire · 19/10/2025 12:14

Starting to look less like the royals were ahead of the game and more like they're on the backfoot.

FamilyPhoto · 19/10/2025 12:15

About bloody time.

Regular reminder that Harry didn’t want to leave and he is now desperate for reconciliation.

FancyBiscuitsLevel · 19/10/2025 12:27

It’s just so sad that Andrew was allowed to get away with acting as he has done for so long.

sashh · 19/10/2025 12:32

It's the Met. Does anyone actually think they will do a full investigation?

familychristmas · 19/10/2025 12:35

The rate they are going they may as well get Jeremy Kyle to do a Christmas special

Snorlaxo · 19/10/2025 12:36

Nothing will happen to Andrew.

I'd be very surprised if the upshot is anything other than 'Nothing to see. Move along now and mind how you go.'

Cheese55 · 19/10/2025 12:40

Absolutely nothing will come of this. The RF are above the law

What do you mean?

333FionaG · 19/10/2025 12:43

I'm glad Andrew is getting his comeuppance whilst he is still alive. Whether anything comes of this, who knows, but the fact he's been stripped of his titles must be mortifying.

FancyBiscuitsLevel · 19/10/2025 12:49

I also dont expect anything to come of this investigation. I fully expect there to be suddenly new revelations and investigations once Andrew is dead, and everyone pretend it only was discovered then, not sat on during his lifetime.

BilingualDoggo · 19/10/2025 12:52

If its all allowed to come out, this is only the beginning. No doubt it’ll be just another cover up though.

Each time these things happen, the public get a little less naive to the goings on and how this family operate though which can only be a good thing.

Spectre8 · 19/10/2025 13:11

And it will come to nothing like all the other times. No way th RF will allow it all to come out especially sinxe fhey have been standing alongside him, enabling him and turning a blind eye...most people would of stopped associating him along time ago. How they still spent time with him, inviting him to family events etc. Makes every single one of them look bad. Sometimes its neccessary to cut ties with toxic family members.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 19/10/2025 13:41

So if it happens at all I guess these will be more documents to have sealed?

Brilliant post about the Jeremy Kyle Christmas Special though Grin

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 19/10/2025 13:43

Snorlaxo · 19/10/2025 12:36

Nothing will happen to Andrew.

No. But the Met probably have to be seen to respond.
I wonder if they'll publish the results of their investigation?

They clearly had to wait till the late Queen died before doing anything.

bluegreygreen · 19/10/2025 14:06

Hmmm ...

Is this an investigation into Andrew, or into whether one of their own officers might have acted inappropriately in following one of Andrew's requests?

If the officer basically received the request but did nothing, there's no problem. If not ...

LizzieSiddal · 19/10/2025 14:12

What’s are Charlie’s skeletons?

BilingualDoggo · 19/10/2025 14:13

I suppose Andrew may know too much though so they couldn’t cut ties without risking other dirty secrets coming out. If they ever properly cut him out, he’d probably mysteriously die.

Absolutely this.

NewspaperTaxis · 19/10/2025 14:21

Agree with the cynical comments on this - as I think Sky or BBC reporter Matthew Boden said some time ago, the Met really demonstrated no appetite for investigating Prince Andrew over his connections to Jeffery Epstein - and imo it is not unlikely that when this story was bubbling under - along with tales of State-led grooming gangs in Labour-led local authorities - the public was led on a wild goose chase with historical allegations against celebs like Sir Cliff Richard, Paul Gambuccini and Lord Britton, oh and Lord Brammell, the D-day veteran, eking it out to make us think they must have had some dirt, when in fact they never hand anything and at best were on a fishing expedition.

The Royals are freemasons, the Met are freemasons, you figure it out.
