Harry Says His Fight Against Tabloids Is a 'Central Piece' of Rift with the Royal Family

Is there anyone in the public eye more delusional and lacking in self-awareness than Harry?

The Duke of Sussex, 39, sat down for a new interview for ITV's documentary Tabloids on Trial, premiering on Thursday, July 25. In a preview released a day before the airing, Harry discussed his reasons for publicly pursuing lawsuits against publications over allegations of phone hacking and other unlawful acts — a contrast from his brother, Prince William, who reportedly quietly received a "very large sum of money" in a settlement from News Group Newspapers (NGN) in 2020 amid a claimed "secret agreement" with the royals.
ITV's Rebecca Barry asked Prince Harry in the clip, "To what extent do you think your determination to fight the tabloids destroyed the relationship with your family?"
"I think that's certainly a central piece to it," the Duke of Sussex replied. "That's a hard question to answer because anything I say about my family results in a torrent of abuse from the press."
"I've made it very clear that this is something that needs to be done. It would be nice if we did it as a family," he continued. "I believe that, again, from a service standpoint and when you're in a public role, that these are the things that we should be doing for the greater good. But I'm doing this for my reasons."

Harry is just a joke. On one hand he claims to want a reconciliation but then goes on TV bad mouthing his family yet again. How can he think any kind of reconciliation is possible when he's still trying to tout his story

Megan said in that interview that Harry had warned her about press intrusion and she was willing to take that on as part and parcel of working royal life - BIG fat lie

The age old tradition of curtsying to the queen was a hilarious moment like she was in some tacky American theme park parody - disrespectful and lacking any cultural awareness

Kate had upset Megan over bridesmaid dresses not the other way around and she was the magnanimous one - who knows if this is a lie or not, but there is only one person bigging themselves up and talking trash about the other (clue: it ain’t Kate)

Didn't ITV have to remove the 'racist' headlines before the interview could be broadcast in the UK because they were made up?

Trashing his family in a book, on the Oprah Winfrey show, in a Netflix documentary, and he has the nerve to talk about press invasion. Did he ask his family's permission to reveal personal secrets? Why is it one rule for him to 'speak his truth' no matter who gets hurt but no one can say a damn thing about him? If marrying someone leads to being isolated from your whole family and friends and isolated from your in laws, thats a massive red flag for anyone. Classic case of 'everyone is wrong except us'. Causing misery to the Queen in her last year, naming their daughter the Queen's personal name to Prince Philip and bringing their personal photographer along when Lilibet was seeing the Queen as they were desperate for the pic of the two because they knew it would be worth millions. The Queen wasn't having any of it and didn't allow it as she knew what they were up to. And they have the nerve to talk about invasion of privacy - the list could go on.

In the comments section of one paper, someone has said that if this is Harry’s purpose in life, then it seems like a “joyless existence just marking time until it is over”. I really agree with this. Being a perpetual victim and blaming others seems to be his full time occupation and there seems to be absolutely no happiness to be gained, and certainly no peace through this course of action. I wonder if he will ever come to see this?

And it must detract from his personal life in such a huge way. I know he doesn't work as such but still it must take him physically and mentally away from his young family. It's such a short and precious span of time that we usually never realise until it's gone.
