Wishing, Princess Kate a speedy and full recovery from me and my family.
Looking forward to Kate and William doing their bit for the UK soon.
A great family that is adored around the world.

Username makes sense. 😬

Waxwin9 · 18/01/2024 10:06

Lol, care to elaborate what 'their bit' is other than being some humongous royal spongers?

Overtheatlantic · 18/01/2024 10:08

😂😂

Urcheon · 18/01/2024 10:08

Is there not a lot going on in your life, OP, for you to be so concerned about the health of a complete stranger you know of only because she smiles and waves wearing a bouncy blowdry and coat dresses?

tenbob · 18/01/2024 10:09

Thank god you posted, OP

Kate was probably scrolling through all the active threads on here wondering where her people are at with their good wishes

I think the op is tongue in cheek!

You’re forgetting all that onerous smiling and waving, plus the occasional bland speech researched, written and vetted by someone else. It’s exhausting, I tell you.

I'll take the bait but once only.

I'd never been a fan of the Royal family until Kate arrived.

From what I have seen and read, I do read about Kate and Williams's impact on the public duties they carry out as well as their private lives. Both are exemplary in their behaviour and social etiquette and do indeed do us, the UK proud as the world's press/media speaks very highly of them, and rightly so.

So you’re admiring of them because they smile and wave and never say or do anything that betrays a hint of anything other than duty, and because the media hasn’t grubbed up any scandal on either, if we overlook William’s rumoured affair, his reputed war with his brother, Kate’s ‘Wisteria Sisters’ reputation and rumoured entrapment of a Prince courtesy of her social climber mother’s aspirational campaign, her see-through student fashion show dress, topless photos/ anorexia etc etc.?

Right. That’s an excellent reason to admire total strangers.

Urcheon it would seem many people make a lot of money out of grandstanding total strangers for people to admire. Many fools worship those strangers on Insatagram, Tik Tox and other social media, then you have Love island and all the other crap shows that make "stars" out of talentless people that are only out to make money. I agree too many strangers are admired.

@Desperate2023 Most are on year long wait lists, quality of life depreciating, having struggled to get doctor's appointments in the first place. Many more with worries about reduced income, childcare and even being discharged from hospital prematurely when unwell. They work hard and pay their taxes. Yet, this Kate calls styled and chauffeured to show up at events "work". Pays no tax and has no mortgage or bills to pay. Yet with ladies in waiting, press secretaries, nannies, cook, personal assistants, stylist, nurse etc her "successful planned abdominal op" requires a 2 week hospital stay & then 10 weeks of 'rest & recuperation'. Fully tax funded life. Plastic surgery or eating disorder is what experienced medics are postulating and sources say something happened on 28th Dec.
RF and BM insisting on respect, care and privacy after spending the past week bashing a baby for being named after her great-grandmother.
Kensington Palace leaked Duchess Meghan's medical information to others in the household and to reporter Valentine Low. Then they leaked her emails and texts to the Daily Mail and court. BM discussing over and over again Princess Meghan's leaked medical records. She deserves no privacy or kindness.

Some children deserve tenderness and consideration while others don't because their father is no longer need by their family's agenda and their mother is bi-racial.

Sending my get well wishes to those waiting for treatment and know things are simply skewed wrong.

Can't be bothered to correct so many mistruths on these threads, but the one that irritates me most is the 'staff on call' business. Whilst I have no doubt that they can have whatever staff they need, whenever they need it, no-one lives with them at Adelaide Cottage, including the Nanny.

Bet George and Louis are having to share for a while, so that Nanny and/or the Middletons can stay over whilst Kate is in hospital. Four bedroom house!

But they live on the Windsor estate - they don't need live in staff because there is so much staff accommodation on site.

I can't believe people actually fall for this idea that they do everything for themselves because they live in a four bed.

@Desperate2023

Ok

i can see why several posters have the attitude they do about Princesses kate recent news on her welfare,
thinking 🤔 it's ridiculous to. Care about a complete stranger,

but then i read somewhere about her using the fact she was fortunate to have a good solid upbringing childhood,
she also had nasty experiences at one particular boarding school,
in which "mean girls" targeted her, cause they were just simply envious of her being whats known as a " all rounder" as in being academically bright intelligent and sporty and also acctractive looking,

so she is using her childhood experiences to set up a project on how adverse crap 💩experinces in childhood can affect us and how it has impact on our society and how to explore look at how to create changes that can help improve our society in general type of idea,
she is encouraging " prominent people" and other people from different charties and organisations to come aboard with her project,

I had a really shit traumatic childhood experinces at times,
so coming from that perspective i really like what princess Kate is doing even more so highlighting this subject matter...

she comes as quite natural too,

she probably be fair gets bored 😴 senseless that her academic intelligence is not being utilised as much as i could be,

I mean for gods sake it's 21 century,
Royal family Courtiers and " the firm" need to move away, from the idea of just simply looking acctractive pretty for the media cameras and just being an acctractive clothes horse for British clothing industries designers,
like her deceased mother in law Princess Diana ect,

cerisepanther73 · 18/01/2024 11:07

@Urcheon

Just looking at your post , about Princess Kate

She once appeared in a see through dress and was topless on holiday,
She also does classy good too,
she comes across as refreshing natural and modern unaffected by her privileged upbringing and she went to university too and she has set up a project at how shit childhood experiences affects people and impacts our society and exploring how 🤔 to improve create changes that will help hopefully improve society,

No wonder Prince William fell for an acctractive emotionally intelligent and academically intelligent woman

What sort of thing happened on 28th December? Please spill beans :)

goodbyestranger · 18/01/2024 11:19

An incredibly well off neighbour who had a second home in our coastal village did come down to hide from her Surrey friends when she had plastic surgery, for around two weeks. I guess it’s plausible that Kate has had plastic surgery but surely unlikely if only because if it was to get out (and presumably it would be noticeable?), it would be dynamite to have made out she was unwell.

queenofarles · 18/01/2024 11:20

im sure they are liked , but not to this extent ,
and let’s be honest its very slim picking.

MummyJ12 · 18/01/2024 11:32

@LadyPineapples it’s completely wrong of people to guess what it is that’s lead to her having abdominal surgery. All we know is that she must be very ill to need so long in hospital. Misinformation and rumour is all it is.
The royal family have medical insurance. Can you imagine the outcry if they used a service like the NHS that is like you rightly alluded to, is so overstretched? Thereby putting even more pressure on it? Because, if it’s an emergency. No one has to wait. The NHS is broken because of incompetent governments firstly overspending which has been followed by years of austerity and cuts. Governments that we elected!
You don’t have evidence for a lot of your points as it doesn’t exist so I won’t ask for it.
Sometimes I wonder if I’ve ventured onto X by mistake because this site is getting as bad.

RomeoAndJools · 18/01/2024 11:40

These threads must be attracting some real oddballs. One poster claimed Kate had a baby prematurely (abdominal surgery - c-section ) and now family are visiting to see the baby. Others that she had a tummy tuck or facelift. Is this the 'hello' section of MN? 😂
