Thanks for posting these. I saw similar on Twitter a while back - when the PoW was on the defensive about not going to the Women’s world footie final in Australia. Suddenly there were all these identical posts on Twitter saying how he wasn’t going because of the environmental impact of flying.
The tweets were picked up and reposted as ‘truth’ by some of those defensive of the Royal Family and in this case, William. Then I saw it, used in an article, almost word for word, in traditional media. It became ‘truth’ - It was the first time I’d seen bot farming, or whatever they call it, in action and how it leaks over into the spaces of traditional news media.
We do easily recognise the propaganda used to inform the opinions of citizens of other countries while not realising how much we are subjected to it in our own country.
BTW, to any royalist reading this, I’m not having a go at Kate. I wish her well and am fully appreciative of the fact that her children are probably very worried about their mum at the moment and missing her presence in the home. I won’t speculate about her illness more than that. It’s ridiculous I have to say this, but I do - because I’ll get cast in the ‘William and Kate hater’ category and my post will be criticised and called vile etc., just like yesterday when I, and others, posted our opinions that ‘juggling childcare ‘ duties is a silly phrase when applied to William. He’ll be busier, and worried about Kate I’m sure, but he’s got more help than most of us could imagine - he’s not ‘juggling’.
