Are we really on a new thread already! Only seems like 5 minutes since the last one began.

Sarah is still in prison/on remand, (for killing Theo,) and is toughening up in there now, hanging onto snooker balls in a sock to hit someone with! One of the prisoners in there has been threatening her and her family if Sarah doesn't get Kit to help her son who is in trouble. (But Sarah has dumped Kit!)

Ma Driscoll has been getting jiggy with Brian! Ollie is in trouble for having a go at Gary's son who appeared to be assaulting Christina when she was drunk on the floor.

Tim reconnected with a cousin he hadn't seen for several decades, (Richie) who went on to kill his wife, and now Tim and Sally are looking after his daughter, and Lou and Mick's girls are back with Tim and Sally too!

We haven't seen much of Debbie lately - or Summer, which is a shame, but plenty of mardy Todd who hates the world right now.

Bernie's aunt has just turned up in the form of glamourous actress Frances Barber, and has only a few weeks to live. So she is hoping Todd can help her with a Dolly Parton themed funeral. R.I.P lovely Dolly! ❤

Yeah Sam is being a bit moany. I don't know why they have put his phone in some random place and forgotten where it is though.

Also agree about Christina getting trollied and not turning up to work (on time.) What time was it even meant to be? Was it lunchtime? Had she already been to work that morning? That bit confused me.

I thought that undertakers had to see the original death certificate, do they then scan them onto their system?
It’s been a while since I went into an undertakers, the last one I went in just took a photocopy of it I think?
So, Lucy is her grand daughter then! What a shock , but no reason to run off to the pub.

@the80sweregreat surely she ran off to the pub because she just found out that her daughter was dead? And not just dead but murdered! Good reason to lose it and get pissed imo. She probably still thinks of her as the baby she gave away. (Assuming that's what happened)

@the80sweregreat Yeah, I'm not sure. (About the death certificate etc.) Also been a while (for me) since I was involved in organising a funeral, over a decade. (DH was with me.) Can't remember much really, as when you've got a close family death, you're in a bit of a tailspin, and your head's all over the place.

Yes, I guess she was in shock and to find out it was a murder too. I just think most people would confide from
the get go, but it wouldn’t make for dramatic tv that way. At least she did tell him eventually.

It's a good one tonight. Good mix of humour, drama, and suspense.

I think Lucy killed her Mum and her Dad (Tim's brother) is covering. When she was speaking to her Dad in prison she said something like 'what if they found out what I did'

I think, but stand to be corrected, that she was mistaken about what time she should start work and was having breakfast at Roy's when she should have been at work. She was told she was late, came in, polished the car, had the argument with Lucy (which was a lot of bollocks) then went inside to do some office/admin work and saw the death certificate. Then she went to the pub, had a few drinks and wanted to sing and be merry. A bit unlikely when you'd just discovered your long lost/taken/given away/sold/whatever daughter was dead by murder.

Arl and Steve and the reading of the cab office rules
..was very funny !

Agree @bizzey I really enjoyed the scene with Carl and Steve in the cab office in tonight's episode. 😆 It actually made me laugh. It was like the Corrie I know and love (when it had humour in it.) All the rules in the cab office! And sub sections too (on rule No 8 was it?) Both Steve and Carl's expressions tickled me....
