Are we really on a new thread already! Only seems like 5 minutes since the last one began.

Sarah is still in prison/on remand, (for killing Theo,) and is toughening up in there now, hanging onto snooker balls in a sock to hit someone with! One of the prisoners in there has been threatening her and her family if Sarah doesn't get Kit to help her son who is in trouble. (But Sarah has dumped Kit!)

Ma Driscoll has been getting jiggy with Brian! Ollie is in trouble for having a go at Gary's son who appeared to be assaulting Christina when she was drunk on the floor.

Tim reconnected with a cousin he hadn't seen for several decades, (Richie) who went on to kill his wife, and now Tim and Sally are looking after his daughter, and Lou and Mick's girls are back with Tim and Sally too!

We haven't seen much of Debbie lately - or Summer, which is a shame, but plenty of mardy Todd who hates the world right now.

Bernie's aunt has just turned up in the form of glamourous actress Frances Barber, and has only a few weeks to live. So she is hoping Todd can help her with a Dolly Parton themed funeral. R.I.P lovely Dolly! ❤

I wish that Lucy would speak more clearly. Sometimes I've missed what she's said.

To me, it sounds like she has a weird voice. It always sounds muffled to me.

It is not hard to get the jist of it

I feel sorry for the young actress who plays Lucy, it is an absurdly hard role to play in a ridiculous plot.

Assume Lucy offed her own mother? Not a spoiler just my thoughts. So we have two murder investigations running, okay...I am starting to FFWD a fair bit or just read the episode description.
Knew the friend of Frances Barber character would be gay, as they needed a gay replacement for Theo.

It does seem the logical conclusion especially after her dad said stick to the story.

Plus nobody in Corrie can commit a crime without orchestrating a cover up that only serves to place them in even more trouble.

Glad Jake let his conscience get the better of him, and decided to come forward to tell the truth. (About Ollie, and what happened the night Christina was drunk...) Jake is well cast, he looks like he could totally be Gary's son!

I must admit I did enjoy the scene with George and Christina. She thought he was going to dump her - I did too - and he gave her another chance. I thought Amy Robbin's (Christina's) acting was very good.

Sally and Tim volunteered to have her, actively wanted to.
There's not loads of foster carers around to easily turn a placement down.
I know a little bit about the system and as much as soaps are v unrealistic, this isn't.

Jake and Susie (his real life sister) are both great at acting. Better than lots of the adults especially Gemma and wooden Jack. Waynetta 😂brilliant.

I love George and I am glad he has forgiven Christina, I think they have a good relationship. I always liked pc Jess I would be delighted if she became a regular on the street, without her actually living there though. She would be a better match for Ollie imo.

I really wish they wouldn't do this. It's getting harder and harder to avoid them these days.

There have been quite a few events over the years that, had I seen spoilers/trailers for, would have totally lost the audible gasp and OMG impact.

Kit was looking a bit out of kilter after trying to sort the yobbo boy.

I think I preferred Bernie's bun to her ponytail. It's a bit distracting. The bun was too but the ponytail's stealing her scenes.

I am sure it has been asked many times, but why is Lauren allowed to be so rude to customers? Ollie is far too nice for her.

I've got no idea. But did anyone notice a short scene where 2 characters (forgotten which) were talking and saying how lovely, friendly and smiley Lauren was? I was surprised, but then thought it was meant to be sarcastic.

Lauren is a brat. Maybe Lucy was always very difficult, she might have been the cause of some of the issues between her parents, we really don't know anything about her.

I've just seen it. Bloody annoying!

I also noticed how very out of breath Kit was after running to catch the dodgy boy. A fit man would recover his breathing more quickly after an exertion.

My guess is that the writers are making yet another character seriously ill. We've not had one since our Paul's MD I don't think. Maybe Bethany's stoma, but I've lost track of time lines.

Oh... baby Harper is probably the most recent seriously ill one.
