Are we really on a new thread already! Only seems like 5 minutes since the last one began.

Sarah is still in prison/on remand, (for killing Theo,) and is toughening up in there now, hanging onto snooker balls in a sock to hit someone with! One of the prisoners in there has been threatening her and her family if Sarah doesn't get Kit to help her son who is in trouble. (But Sarah has dumped Kit!)

Ma Driscoll has been getting jiggy with Brian! Ollie is in trouble for having a go at Gary's son who appeared to be assaulting Christina when she was drunk on the floor.

Tim reconnected with a cousin he hadn't seen for several decades, (Richie) who went on to kill his wife, and now Tim and Sally are looking after his daughter, and Lou and Mick's girls are back with Tim and Sally too!

We haven't seen much of Debbie lately - or Summer, which is a shame, but plenty of mardy Todd who hates the world right now.

Bernie's aunt has just turned up in the form of glamourous actress Frances Barber, and has only a few weeks to live. So she is hoping Todd can help her with a Dolly Parton themed funeral. R.I.P lovely Dolly! ❤

That was Johnny Connor, (Aiden's dad who drowned,) and that wasn't Daisy's dad.

Jenny was Daisy's stepmother (as Jenny was married to Daisy's dad.) She was married to Daisy's dad a few years before she met Johnny Connor.

As Celine Dion said 'it's all coming back to me now.....' 😁

Thanks

so Daisy’s dad was an offscreen character?

I vaguely remember Jenny kidnapping a small boy when she came back to CS

Daisy has gone off to be a hairdresser nowadays with Sally Phillips

I do not think that one person has ever fully understood the back story they concocted for Cassie and Ty, not even the scriptwriters.

The most I can gather is that Evelyn dumped him at a police station, then Jackie found him and no further questions asked or something

Yeah, that one is a conundrum isn't it? Jackie Dobbs (Margi Clarke) was Tyrone's mum for many years, and popped back in now and again over the years. Then suddenly several years ago, we were expected to believe that Cassie (Claire Sweeney) was actually his mum/bio mum, but I can't remember them ever explaining why.

Yes, I don't think we ever saw Daisy's dad. Smile

Oh yeah, Jenny did kidnap a child didn't she? I had forgotten about that!

I am old enough to remember Jenny having an affair with a married man, a dentist if I recall correctly. Rita warned her it would end in tears, but unexpectedly he left his wife and Jenny went off with him. I don't think he ever appeared on screen. I dont know if it was Daisy's dad though, or a subsequent relationship.
I suppose George would be shocked, they just buried a young woman who was murdered, and it turns out to be Chrissy's long lost child.
It all feels a bit shoe-horned in though.

bizzey · 24/09/2026 11:00

Jenny was going out with Kevin at he time and took off with his son Jack.
She ended up on a roof with him in some sort of psychosis state due to her grief in loosing her own son Tommy when he was 2or 3 .
He drowned in the he bath when Jenny got distracted with Daisy.

Daisy would have been a late teen I think 🤔.

bizzey · 24/09/2026 11:02

Psychosis may not be the correct word so apologies if not.
But she was in some sort of manic state with her mental health.

suburburban · 24/09/2026 11:02

Does anyone else think that Chrissie looks older than 55, is it her hair or voice

bizzey · 24/09/2026 11:08

If Lucy is now Christina's granddaughter and also Daisy's niece ...the casting is pretty much spot on !
Exact same colouring and hair (as Daisy )

bizzey · 24/09/2026 11:10

I miss Daisy !
She had the proper sullen stare and one line put down that Lauren just can't master !!

Deadringer · 24/09/2026 11:16

I am not sure that finding her long lost grandma is going to help Lucy much, assuming Chrissy goes public with it. There is something deeply wrong with that girl.

eggandonion · 24/09/2026 11:42

Im sure a few weeks in the George house will sort Lucy out. Unless Eileen and Jason return. Or Daisy .

I always think she is older because I get her mixed up with her elder sister

Adam was a secret long lost child. Susan Baldwin told Mike she'd had an abortion, they split up & she moved away. Years later she dies in a car crash & we're told that she did actually have the child & a teenage Adam turned up.

Hmmm yeah, I wonder if she was a devoted mother to Daisy (who she would have had at around 25 maybe,) but they fell out when Daisy was a teen. From experience, I know teen girls can be errr.... challenging. Wink Not me, I was a little Angel 👼

😂

Or maybe Daisy was fine as a teen, and it was Christina who started to become a 'bad mother.' Not looking after Daisy, not being there for her, and letting her down... Maybe she was fine to start with, then started to 'slip' as Daisy got older/hit her teens.

But yeah, I was never exactly sure why there was bad blood between Daisy and her mum (Christina.) IIRC Christina was a bit flaky and borrowed money and never gave it back, and I think she'd let Daisy down a few times. But I'm not sure what their mother-daughter relationship was like when Daisy was a child/teen. And if it was an OK relationship, when it started to break down...)

Oh good point

I thought she was a bit younger actually. 😬 Maybe 49-50.

It’s bound to get out (other than to George) There’d be no point in having it in the story line otherwise

I had totally forgotten that Jenny had a thing with a married man! Must be over 30 years ago now.

Oh yeah, that's right. That's another one (long lost child that no-one knew existed until they were older/teens.)

Has anyone mentioned Sam/Nick yet (Natasha the hairdresser's son?)

I quite miss Daisy too. Didn't think I would. She was very pretty, but also had a great death stare, and awesome resting bitch face! 😆

Sam is being a bit of a pain isn’t he.
Chrissie being late to work and then going to get drunk was out of order , she is lucky to be given a chance at a new job . Why do they never fess up straight away when there is a problem?

eggandonion · 24/09/2026 13:17

Basically everyone has or is a long lost child. Or an orphan.
I thought Daisy was good with Daniel. And Bertie.

That would be against the rules, there has to be a look at me drinking scene in the local pub ordering from her brother's girlfriend and downing them instantly
