Are we really on a new thread already! Only seems like 5 minutes since the last one began.

Sarah is still in prison/on remand, (for killing Theo,) and is toughening up in there now, hanging onto snooker balls in a sock to hit someone with! One of the prisoners in there has been threatening her and her family if Sarah doesn't get Kit to help her son who is in trouble. (But Sarah has dumped Kit!)

Ma Driscoll has been getting jiggy with Brian! Ollie is in trouble for having a go at Gary's son who appeared to be assaulting Christina when she was drunk on the floor.

Tim reconnected with a cousin he hadn't seen for several decades, (Richie) who went on to kill his wife, and now Tim and Sally are looking after his daughter, and Lou and Mick's girls are back with Tim and Sally too!

We haven't seen much of Debbie lately - or Summer, which is a shame, but plenty of mardy Todd who hates the world right now.

Bernie's aunt has just turned up in the form of glamourous actress Frances Barber, and has only a few weeks to live. So she is hoping Todd can help her with a Dolly Parton themed funeral. R.I.P lovely Dolly! ❤

He was never the brightest but that wasn't always usually the butt of every joke.

It has been on repeat now for years.

He makes Benny from Crossroads look like Sir Laurence Olivier at his finest.

I would like to see them at least try and give his character a re-boot beyond the village idiot stuff, give him proper scenes with Ty and Ches who are his mates

Yes, it would be nice to see Kirk in a decent storyline, but I think they've made the character into such a clown (and as you say, a village idiot,) that I'm not sure they could take him into any decent storyline.

Aww, do you? I don't have mine, but I do still have a Tiny Tears doll, a Pippa doll, and a Jill from Charlie's Angels doll (Farrah Fawcett.) My older cousin borrowed my Tressy doll and never returned it. I've never forgiven her! 😠

She was always nicking my stuff! When I say older, she was only 18 months older, but still older! Not like 20 when I was 8. Grin

She 'borrowed' my roller skates too, and didn't return them, my dad asked her for them several times and she said she couldn't find them. My dad bought me some more, (which I never lent her again!)

Maybe Chrissy was also reflecting on her relationship with Daisy, and the mistakes she made. Daisy might even come back? Possibly with a new head. After all, Bertie hasn't had a step mum for a few weeks.
I wouldn't put it past the writers to rehash that storyline and bring in a long lost 'child', and Summer of course is adopted, but she is a bit young I think to have been given up by Chrissy, who would have been in her 30s when she was born.

SabreIsMyFave · 23/09/2026 13:06

Something to think about @Deadringer ... Smile

Maybe tattoo boy is her long list son. I work opposite a body building place with tattoo parlour attached. Their clients are covered in tattoos.

Being in your 30s and having a child isn’t unusual?

ErlingHaalandsManBun · 23/09/2026 13:30

I think Christina has another child who we have never heard of yet. For some reason the child has not been mentioned and she hasn't told anyone about it.

Maybe they lost touch or they were put up for adoption as a baby? Depends on how long ago it was when she had them. Teen pregnancy maybe?

I think maybe @Deadringer is suggesting that it would be unusual to have a child in your 30s and have it adopted. Especially in the 2000s/the noughties, when Christina would have been in her 30s ...

It is typically much younger women/girls who have their child adopted (sometimes against their will.) Moreso pre mid 1980s I would say.

Yes that's what i meant. It would seem an odd choice for a woman in her 30s who had a child of what, 10 or 12 already who would surely question it. Not impossible though.

I cannot believe that he is the brother of Maria knowing what a stuck up madam she is in you’d think she’d have disowned him by now how clown like they’ve made him !

Agree with this too. Maria and Kirk don't seem like they share a single dot of DNA.

Yeah but they did in classic Corrie, you could see this. Just now Kirk offering to help with Chesney’s private tutor fees (that would have been a waste of money)

I also don’t know why they bring in new family’s while making existing characters idiots. Sean can still get in the bin

SabreIsMyFave · 23/09/2026 21:02

Well that was another fairly decent episode. But now have yet ANOTHER long lost child of someone. Can they not come up with something original? 🙄

Now Lucy (Tim's cousin's daughter,) is all-of-a-sudden Christina's grand-daughter, and Lucy's mum (who we just found out was killed by Lucy!) was her daughter.

Was Lucy sincere when she said sorry to Sally for throwing her phone at her, and hitting her in the face? I'm not sure.... Sally still doesn't seem too keen on Lucy being there. She's right that Lucy needs specialist care, and therapy.

Looks like Tim didn't hear her talking to her dad the other night though - when she revealed she killed her mum.

That woman Carl had brought back to Debbie's house was awful wasn't she? Calling Debbie 'mental.' Horrible woman! 😠

More singing and shit from Susie! 😬

Lucy will move in with Christina and George tomorrow

By next week she will have forgotten about her other family

Who was babysitting the quads though or can Jawsef do this now

yes the Christina/Lucy story is irritating.
