Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

New Thread thank you @Southeastdweller

I was just looking at the last one suddenly it's "Everybody Out . " Grin

I don't know if Janine would kill Zoe there's nothing there that the two would get angsty about ?
Unless Janine decides she's having the Pub and Zoe get's her oar in ? Is that enough to kill someone though ?

gingercat02 · 26/07/2026 15:55

Well caught @Southeastdwellerthanks
I like Janine so would be pleased to have her back for a while.
I wondered about the woman detective, Jack is suspicious of the new younger man, but I suspect she will be his problem in some way.
Bored of most of the storylines currently 😴

Alucard55 · 26/07/2026 15:56

@Southeastdweller thanks for the new thread.

I think there's nowhere for Janine to go. Surely after her last stint nobody would want anything to do with her. And her time for redemption has long been and gone.

the80sweregreat · 26/07/2026 16:03

Hi, thanks for the new spoilers thread south !
See what next week brings !!

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 26/07/2026 17:42

Thanks for the new thread. Charlie Brooks says it’s hard work playing Janine but then says she likes playing her.

TurquoiseDreamCatcher · 26/07/2026 17:43

I’m so pleased Janine will be back!

Agreed, there’s no reason for Janine to be back if nowhere to stay, is Mick’s son with her, accompanying her? Can’t see Linda welcoming either of them. Max would be aggressive to her too.

Southeastdweller · 26/07/2026 17:52

It’s just a couple of episodes she’s doing.

Any bets on a name for Janine’s son? Little Micky, perhaps? EEWiki says he lives in Germany with Ricky and Scarlett.

It’s just a couple of episodes she’s doing.

I saw an Eastenders page post that she arrives in Autumn, has already started filming so likely Sept. That she gets caught in a couple of storylines leading up to Christmas.. so I think it’s more then a couple episodes 🤷🏻‍♀️

That might be fan speculation? She’s touring in a play from September until spring of next year so unlikely she’s doing a long stint as Janine, but we’ll see.

the80sweregreat · 27/07/2026 02:21

I can’t imagine Ricky in Germany and doing well! But he is apparently. Despite also having to bring up his sisters children !

Shellingbynight · 27/07/2026 08:19

The spoilers say Janine is only back for 2 or 3 episodes and she definitely isn't filming over autumn as she's on stage in the Curious Dog play from September until next summer. It says the story 'airs over autumn'.

It'll be a quick drive-by to annoy us, like Chrissie.

the80sweregreat · 27/07/2026 08:38

Why is Janine back ? Unless it’s for money or just to taut Linda, that will be pointless without an actual plot. I do like her as the ultimate female villian, but it does feel as if the producer just likes old characters!

Shellingbynight · 27/07/2026 08:57

Yes I think that's the answer 80s. Wadey is obsessed with bringing back iconic characters but doesn't know what to do with them. The only success he has had is Max.

the80sweregreat · 27/07/2026 09:01

Agree that Max returning has been handled well. I hope he stays on next year.

Southeastdweller · 27/07/2026 10:08

Ian has been sentenced to eight months in prison. I’m assuming he’ll meet Gray there.

OP posts:
the80sweregreat · 27/07/2026 10:15

South, why were Chelsea and Kim on the tube when normally they all go in cabs .. plot reasons, but not what usually happens is it !
Ian looks like his lost a lot of weight and so has Vicki.

Southeastdweller · 27/07/2026 10:26

Plot reasons to enable Ian to go to prison and meet Gray. I’m guessing Gray will manipulate Ian to team up against Chelsea before she tells the police about her ‘involvement’ with Jordan’s accident.

Ian gets 8 months prison sentence, but he’s out by NYD flash forward. How does that work? Maths not working out here.

the80sweregreat · 27/07/2026 11:19

I imagine that Chelsea will end up getting him out I suppose. Or he’ll appeal the sentence , not sure.

Chelsea will eventually tell the police about her shouting at Jordan is my assumption as to why he’ll be out of prison soon.

Yes, I suppose that’d be right.

the80sweregreat · 27/07/2026 11:53

Ian was still over the limit though. He knows this.
You would still want him punished somehow if it was your child even if you did tell him to ‘ run along’
She thought he’d be safe. I’m not condoning her actions , but this isn’t all her fault entirely either.
