Who does Cathy think she is? She is hardly mother of the year. Chelsea is very forgiven. I would have slapped her back.

the80sweregreat · 28/07/2026 21:35

Kathy was out of order. I did like that Chelsea pulled her up on not being perfect herself! We remember Ken ..

TurquoiseDreamCatcher · 28/07/2026 21:36

No offence to Jessie Wallace but that hair cut looks like the hair that used to be on Lego people

the80sweregreat · 28/07/2026 21:37

Lego people! It didn’t look great , but oddly Dh noticed and said it looked nice! Is it a wig ?

EmeraldShamrock000 · 28/07/2026 21:41

Gray is a really shit actor, not sure why the producers thought it was a good storyline.

Cat”s hairstyle reminded me of Dudley Moore, the friend’s episode hair cut.

the80sweregreat · 28/07/2026 21:45

Gray wasn’t too bad with Chantelle and all the murdering , but now his just snarling at Sheila ( and will be at Ian soon) his lost it.
I guess it’s not the most dynamic of parts now he is in prison.

Alucard55 · 28/07/2026 22:09

I was with Kathy when she said you've had months to make a statement but you wait till today. Now we need to do an overcomplicated storyline where Sheila gets involved and pays for Ian's lawyer.

Alucard55 · 28/07/2026 22:12

Totally unbelievable that Vicki would even consider living under the same roof as Joel. I get he is a child and I do think the wet drip that is Ross should be a proper parent to him but but this is taking it too far.

I think Jean called it right when she said to Ross you're shouting at a 16 year old girl no wonder Joel turned out the way he did.

Re Jack and the female copper…we saw her making a move on him and then in the next scene he is in Denise’s hospital room but are we sure nothing happened in between? This is Jack and Jack after all. And in the flashforward it seems as if their marriage is on the rocks..

I think the purpose of Ian ending up in the same prison as Gray is that he will see Sheila visiting him and tell Chelsea. Then it will all kick off.

I can’t with Kat’s hair. Can only assume the actress has upset someone in the wardrobe department who has put a joke wig on her. That cannot be her actual hair.

Shellingbynight · 29/07/2026 08:19

I think we were supposed to see that it was the cop coming onto him which made Jack&Jack's brain clunk round to "must see Dee!" I don't think anything happened. There is loads of other stuff to piss her off, in terms of how he deals with it and conceals from her - the Amy-Joel issue, whatever happens to Penny and the baby, but most likely the whole Chelsea-Gray-Sheila-Ian debacle, which Jack will either not know about or not tell her about.

the80sweregreat · 29/07/2026 13:55

Ian Squeal ! Oh dear.
Why does Nicola drink in the pub when she runs her own bar ?
Where was Ivy today ?
Sharon’s face when E ‘ laine mentioned a Mitchell ! Lol
Clive seems too good to be true.. fan speculation online he is something to do with Janine ? ..Hope it’s just that tbh.

the80sweregreat · 29/07/2026 14:02

If Billy is such a good builder , why doesn’t he do that instead of the stall ? I liked the teen’s altogether, at least it was nice seeing a few youngsters having parts rather than the same old people. Although I don’t mind seeing Phil and Sharon around.

I'm on the fence, it's quite rock n roll. It is a little softer, but it does look similar to Noel Fielding's hair. I dont think it matches Kat's wardrobe, but might look good in her own style. She has a nice face shape, so no need for the fringe.

Shellingbynight · 28/07/2026 14:21

80s I just find Clive a bit boring and characterless. Linda generally likes someone with a spark.

Handsome, though!

Urgentbiscuitrequired · 29/07/2026 14:19

I also hate EE prison storylines and the inevitable bullying in the scripts.

the80sweregreat · 29/07/2026 14:25

Clive is very nice isn’t he. His bound to have a dark side , but I really hope he doesn’t.

the80sweregreat · 29/07/2026 14:26

So funny about Suki’s hair today , which I must admit I don’t really notice. She’s had the same hair do forever.

Shellingbynight · 29/07/2026 14:35

Another change of hairdo? We've had Joel, Kat, Mo, now Suki?

the80sweregreat · 29/07/2026 14:41

The writers are obsessed with hair ! Lol

“She did not go for the pouffe?”😂😂😂

the80sweregreat · 29/07/2026 15:33

I like Suki’s hair, it’s neat and tidy and suits her.
Eve getting one over Nicola was funny. George will regret telling her though.

BitLippie · 29/07/2026 15:33

Linda’s big donut bun
Sharon’s clip-in hair extensions
Now Kat’s ‘Dudley Moore’

Definiteiy some trolling going on in the EE hair and make up department.

I like Chelsea’s sharp bob, though.

Stacey had lovely hair.

the80sweregreat · 29/07/2026 15:39

Stacey had the best hair and even during her darkest hours it would gleam and shine and look fabulous
The strictly crew will love doing her locks!

Yes murderers can and are in prison alongside those with a more normal reason are in for .
Outing maybe , but I am a civilian working in a prison ( that means non uniform ) and I run a department that prisoners attend . I have 2 orderlies ( prisoners ) 1 is in for a drug related crime and the other killed a man by strangulation .
It is a B category jail and mixed in with the prisoners that come into the department in small groups there are all kinds all mixed in with each other aged over 18 .
Vulnerable prisoner's rapists , paedophiles , or those deemed at risk of they are on a normal regime wing are kept separate .

What about someone (Ian) who is in prison for hurting someone (Grey) son.... would they really be in the same block?

Spidey66 · 29/07/2026 16:01

The guy who plays Clive used to play David in casualty. He’s aged very well !
