It’s a very confluted way of getting Gray and Ian in the same orbit. Sheila will kidnap Jordan or something too I think.

Danny Dyer has just made a film with Ray Winstone, and a third series of The Rivals is filming later this year. I can't think of any reason he'd return. Except maybe as Mick's ghost, if Wadey is that desperate😆

So Ian meets Gray in prison, during visiting time everyone bumps into each other, Gray escapes and kidnaps Jordan (a young child in a wheelchair who needs hoists and help with transfers but nevermind that), the other children are somehow caught up in it, Max rescues everyone and Gray is the Christmas day death that no-one cares about.

No idea how the pregnant lady fits into this

Agree what was Vicki doing at the bedside.

I am sooooooooo glad Nicola gave George what for today.

I felt surprisingly emotional when Vicky broke down with Joel and held his hand at the end of yesterdays episode. It felt very real and raw. Although I still think it’s awful that she has agreed to have him back living with her.

Ian’s face when he was sentenced was an absolute classic.

Kathy is a right rucker, isn’t she? That was a vicious slap!

Not sure about Kat’s new hair do. She looks like she’s channelling Monica in the ‘I said Demi Moore, not Dudley Moore!’ bad hair cut episode.

I literally could not care less about the Gray and his Gran storyline and I sincerely hope the writers don’t have a ridiculous prison break plot lined up.

Kathy slaps Chelsea, but fails to see her own wrongdoing in the situation, she was the one distracting Ian! Why didn't she stand in court as a witness, she could have explained that it was a bin they hit, and no idea a child was behind the bin.

I think Kat has gone for a trendy wolf cut.

Maybe Kathy can’t be a witness because she was in the car ? ( Don’t know though , my knowledge of legal matters is non existent. )
Poor Ian today and that slap made me wince.
Sharon finds out soon that Grant was with Linda I think.
At least Jean did the right thing telling Jack and Jack.
Nicola berating Suki! I know she can be nasty , but it did make me smile. Suki and Eve over a barrel there.

I agree Kat's hairdo is of the 'Dudley Moore' variety! Her hair isn't normally that thick so it must be 'enhanced'.

Prison scenes in soaps are always absolutely dire.

I like Clive! Although Dh was being negative and said his bound to be a wife beater , thief , dodgy in some capacity. Newcomers rarely do well.

80s I just find Clive a bit boring and characterless. Linda generally likes someone with a spark.

He's going to be in the show for at least another six weeks - hopefully we'll find out more about him in this period.

Linda’s gone from cheekie chappie Mick , to bad boy max and grant and now Clive ! I guess it is a bit of a step backwards , but maybe she needs someone a bit vanilla ? His daughter will probably turn up and put a spanner in the works! Lol

Ian B (if any of this was real ) wouldn’t be in a prison with murderers surely ? I know there is a prison crisis , but they have different categories for prisoners and Ian didn’t kill anyone. However, London ( Walford ) only has one prison , so off he goes to be with Gray. Lucky Ian .. ;(
Gray is seriously deluded isn’t he! You would never guess he murdered three people the way he carries on

Shaz was only in for contempt of court and she was shacked up with murderer Chrissie. It was worth it to see Chrissie, but I think the producer is over estimating viewers' enthusiasm for Gray.

Yes murderers can and are in prison alongside those with a more normal reason are in for .
Outing maybe , but I am a civilian working in a prison ( that means non uniform ) and I run a department that prisoners attend . I have 2 orderlies ( prisoners ) 1 is in for a drug related crime and the other killed a man by strangulation .
It is a B category jail and mixed in with the prisoners that come into the department in small groups there are all kinds all mixed in with each other aged over 18 .
Vulnerable prisoner's rapists , paedophiles , or those deemed at risk of they are on a normal regime wing are kept separate .

Gray won't be released, granny Sheila would have paid for him to be released years ago, there obviously isn't a get out of jail clause for him, quite rightly.
I agree with the comment about the producer over estimating the enthusiasm for Gray, one appearance was one too many.

Doesn’t Mick already have a kid called Frankie??
