Just watched 20 minutes of episode 1

Love it.

It’s certainly different!

I saw the advert for this and thought it had the potential to be awful, but as it’s got Diane Morgan in it, it must be good?!

Watched first two episodes, liked it much more than I expected to. Really well written, funny and quiet poignant. Sue Johnston is brilliant.

It’s actually quite funny. I wasn’t sure at first, but the acting is good.

Love that there’s two from Motherland in it.

The first one I wasn’t sure about. I don’t hate it but don’t love it either. Julia’s Australian nanny in Motherland is the robot delivery driver.

I wondered where I’d seen the delivery woman before.

It’s going to be as poignant as these shows tend to be isn’t it ! They will fall in love with each other and grow to love each other won’t they ! ( not a spoiler , but it’s being signposted isn’t it!)

I was dubious about this. But I absolutely loved it. Different, funny and very poignant.

I loved her in Motherland, can only take small doses of Philomena Clunk, and found Mandy quite hard to watch as she's so clueless (though I know that's the point). But this really works.

I do like Cunk, but im a Charlie Brooker fan.

Glad I'm not alone liking it!

I'm 52 and stuck at home with a broken ankle and wrist, and for the first time in my life people keep saying I've "had a fall". I watched ep 1 tonight and it's genuinely lovely but has also depressed me...

Just watched ep 1 with my dd14 and ds11. Ds was absolutely giggling away so we’ll definitely be watching again. Has reminded me that ds would appreciate Philomena Cunk too.

Absolutely loved it. Funny, poignant and with a great cast. Loved Mrs Figg from Harry Potter as Eileen.

I've never found Diane Morgan funny.

But this is the first thing in years that has made me laugh AND cry.

"Unlike Kevin, I am sincere" tipped me over the edge!
