Hi i just watched the first episode tonight, i thought it was great very funny but heartfelt. Sue sue sue made me laugh 😀

I really hated Mandy, so was apprehensive about this, but an episode in and loved it.

I enjoyed it. An easy and amusing watch.

I have just finished it and oh, I loved it! It made me laugh and cry.

When I first saw it advertised I thought it looked a ridiculous idea. I love anything Diane Morgan is in so was disappointed she had this role. After watching it though I absolutely love it. Fab actors and poignant storyline.

I have just finished watching it and echo every word you said.

Excellent acting and writing. I like comedy by repetition so cotton eyed Joe episode 6 still had me smiling.

Watched first one last night, definitely had some LOL moments!

I gave it a try just in case but hated it so gave up

Like many others on here I gave it a swerve as the whole idea seemed a bit ridiculous and not my thing .... binged two so far and love it!

Diane Morgan - for the first time ever I can agree wholeheartedly that an actress is 'brilliant'.

I was disappointed.

Disappointed that there are only 6 episodes.

I hope they make more, I really enjoyed this.

I didn't watch it at first because the theme is similar to a couple of films (and a tv show?) but was encouraged by OP's post and immediately comments.

For the most part I really enjoyed it. Like the humour, though suspect it was aimed at an older generation!

And thought nearly all of the acting was great.

And without posting any spoilers, thought it was obviously hoping for a second series - though not sure I like the potential plot development.

Made to add it was interesting as it took a very different view point than Humans, which I suppose was more about the impact on society, than individual families.

i dont know how t hey can make a second series - her son was awful
it was quite poignant for me since my own dm was just in hospital but she had care afterwards and has rallied round quickly, but this premise is different, less her inability physically and more her mental inability

That is my fear for a second series that it will drift away from the issue of so many older people living on their own, will then lurch into exploring the potential role of droids to help so many useless / selfish men function is society!

I didn't want to watch it but DH and DD persuaded me. Binged 5 episodes last night and loved it! Can't wait for more.

Didn’t fancy it at all but like Diane Morgan so thought I’d give it ago. Feeling ridiculously sentimental but episode one had me wiping my eyes! Brilliant cast and think it’s going to be a story of Afterlife proportions.

It seems a few of us didn’t like the premise but because of Diane Morgan we gave it a go - and glad we did!

I didn't realise it was downloadable. I think will just watch it weekly give me something to look forward too
