Welcome to Thread 5 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far:

Traitors
Hugo
Rachel
Stephen
Fiona (Secret Traitor)

Murdered
Netty
Ben
Maz

Banished
Judy (Faithful)
Hugo (Traitor)
Ross (Faithful)
Amanda (Faithful)

Candidates for murder in Episode 6: Ellie, Faraaz, Jade, Matthew, Reece and Sam (Amanda was also a potential but was banished beforehand and Fiona and Stephen cannot be murdered).

The floor is yours…

Thank you for opening new threads so diligently.

#Team Anyone but Fiona

HighStreetOtter · 09/01/2026 07:12

I think they might murder Ellie, if I was a traitor I’d think she was a threat.

SoScarletItWas · 09/01/2026 07:37

Placemarking and hoping someone pops the cast photo on so I can keep track of interchangeable dudes…

Thanks for the new thread.
Thankfully no school run here as it’s a snow day ☃️.
Hopefully Faraaz or Sam won’t get murdered later.

Stowickthevast · 09/01/2026 08:04

Thanks for the new thread @CaveMum

I think I have sussed out the interchangable males:
Adam - Cockney builder, cap
James - David Tennant
Jack - glasses & earrings
Matthew - the one we never see, soft NI accent, has some nice sweaters

I think Reece, Sam and Faraaz are more recognisable!

dayswithaY · 09/01/2026 08:04

I wonder what Harriet’s thoughts are on this car crash. Fiona took her aside to vent about Rachel and she didn’t say anything but to me,she looked like she also had doubts about Rachel.

Stephen has dodged a bullet, all the focus has shifted from him.

LongDarkTeatime · 09/01/2026 08:09

Team member for #AnyoneButFiona checking in.

Have felt the way she behaved was sly, like a playground mean girl, throughout. And mean girls don’t like to have control of the gossip, not to hear it at the same time as everyone else.

MissMoneyFairy · 09/01/2026 08:14

Fiona is just jealous and pissed that Amanda didn't tell her first as she has police in her family, she can't get murdered and can't get banished because she's unpleasant. I hope she goes soon.

DarkForces · 09/01/2026 08:15

Fiona will never believe she should have handled this differently. Her self reflection is 0

Pusstachio · 09/01/2026 08:22

Jessie & Jade both had epic eye shadow last night- I wonder if they swap style notes, they’d make a great style column together

Lottapianos · 09/01/2026 08:28

I was a big fan of Fiona and was chuffed that she was the ST. I thought she was warm, smart and funny, and was really enjoying the game

But she was unnecessarily nasty to Reece, both in her lack of effort during the skulls task, and her 'bad faithful ' comment last night. I am stunned at her all out open warfare on Rachel - she could have played that so much smarter. I know it's a game and everyone is in it for themselves, and that's fair enough, but it feels really unpleasant, and just bad game play

Still cringing for Amanda and how epically shit she was at the game, especially as a former senior detective. Shocking!

Pusstachio · 09/01/2026 08:31

I think both Fiona & Rachel would be horrendous to have as work colleagues! Poor Stephen is going the climb out the tower window rather than be caught in the middle of those two!

FrootyCider · 09/01/2026 08:32

Not exactly in defence of Fiona - she was irritating even before this blow up - but IMO last night made Rachel look underhanded/sus as well. First of all for drawing all this attention suddenly. Secondly Fiona did at least pull her aside - Rachel decided to make a big announcement. Lastly I wonder if any of the other faithfuls are thinking, even if the Amanda stuff is true, why are you immediately spilling what your close friend told you in confidence? I don't think any of these traitors are making it to the end.

Just OOOOOOH what brilliant TV though. I am so incredibly sad to be out at a birthday party tonight. I won't be a sad sack and try to dip out early to watch. I won't! 😂

friedaddedchilli · 09/01/2026 08:36

Anyone else heard the theory that Jack is Ross from 2 (the secret son)? Heavily disguised of course. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it! I’ve noticed that he literally keeps his head down at the round table, and I thought the whole handing recent Ross a picture of him in Uncloaked was very odd!

Yes, I agree. She's seems to come across quite the nasty piece of work.
lf this is her 'true colour' coming out, you certainly wouldn't want her as a MIL would you! 😂

The jealousy of finding out that Amanda had confided in Rachel rather than her was too much. I hope Rachel wipes the floor with her; Stephen seems pretty ineffective so I doubt he'll show much support for either.

I do wonder though, if we, the audience, are being 'played' and the producers have told Amanda/Rachel/Fiona to 'act' out this little scene? I really hope not!

FloridaCheese · 09/01/2026 08:57

Fiona reminds me of the two faced local government officers we have to deal with for SEN matters! Sickly sweet to talk to, likes to give an air of ignorance and innocence and pretend she doesn't really know what's going on. But actually an astute nasty piece of work underneath!

Whinge · 09/01/2026 09:03

Whoever said Fiona reminds them of Dolores Umbridge was spot on.

ThePoshUns · 09/01/2026 09:11

I thought Harriet handled Fiona confiding in her very well, she was very neutral and non committal. I think she can see that Fiona is stirring the pot and will make her own conclusions about Rachel.

Production can't interfere, there is prize money at stake so any attempt to shape/control events would be a major breach of broadcasting rules.

I think Fiona is just so full of her own self importance that she couldn't stand the thought of her 'rival' being confided in rather than her. She probably sneaks out at dawn on bin day to put general waste in the top of the neighbours recycling bin if they dare to have a gathering or.outing they don't invite her to.

Agree, I love their colourful looks.

Fiona is really coming across as a spiteful cow. It's not game play, it's just plain nasty. #teamanyonebutfiona

I would like to see Rachel and Fiona go now, and see Stephen remain as the original traitor.

RedToothBrush · 09/01/2026 09:21

I don't understand Rachel revealing her secret (unless production made her). Everyone knows that every person who reveals a big secret immediately slaps a big X on their forehead.

It makes no sense!

Fiona likewise was batshittery for then going after her like that rather than just stirring the pot gently.

It 100% looks like traitor v traitor!

Maggiethecat · 09/01/2026 09:21

Not sure anyone will be swayed by Amanda’s theories from
the grave about Sam and Jade, conveyed by Rachel.
I think Amanda’s downfall was that she seemed confused, constantly gunning for Jade, without any strong reason, but then pointing at Jade, Sam and Reece at the RT.
Don’t think anyone will be voting off Reece just yet, he must have the sympathy card.

Rictasmorticia · 09/01/2026 09:24

i can’t make out whether Amanda was incredibly naive or incredibly arrogant.
