Marking my place.

MrsLeonFarrell · 08/01/2026 10:39

Maybe Fiona will reveal tonight why she kept putting Maz on the list.

ClaudiaWeveAllHadChildcareDaysLikeThat · 08/01/2026 10:48

Hello! Thank you for the new thread @CaveMum . Yes it can get all tedious but all this chat gets me through January.

@MrsLeonFarrell I assume she reused names, as each name confirmed that person was a faithful - hence narrowing down who is the potential Secret Traitor.

TellingBone · 08/01/2026 11:05

Thanks for the new thread

Just continuing on the theme of whom you normally want to win - I've always wanted Traitors to win in previous series but this time I don't.

I think it's for two reasons. The most important - we didn't get to know them and their strategies well enough from the off because they weren't allowed to get into their stride. Secondly, I think they deliberately chose two dislikeable Traitors and one blunderer. Plus they added Fiona, who's definitely Marmite.

Two well known people born 1934 and still around - Tom Baker and Dame Judi Dench. Not that that gets us any further forward. 😁

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 08/01/2026 11:23

Thanks @CaveMum the thread moves so fast I find it difficult to keep up with outside of the actual episodes!

LighthouseLED · 08/01/2026 11:30

I didn’t get around to watching Uncloaked - was the secret traitor discussed there at all? And presumably Ross had the normal envelope to open with the names of the traitors - was Fiona on that?

Choux · 08/01/2026 11:35

Interestingly we never saw Ross’s reaction to finding out Fiona was a traitor. No idea why.

BestIsWest · 08/01/2026 11:39

Just making place.

JaneJeffer · 08/01/2026 11:40

I thought it was hilarious when they showed the really tall red cloaked traitor walking towards the turret and then tiny Fiona appeared inside.

ST was discussed on Uncloaked.

There was a second envelope on the table next to Ross when he read the list of traitors, but it was left unopened. (Or they didn’t broadcast him reading it.)

I think it was the same when Ben and Hugo were having their post-leaving chat - the second envelope left on the table.

cadburyegg · 08/01/2026 11:44

I am looking forward to seeing someone getting murdered in person (feels strange to write that down )!

I don’t like Rachel very much and I hope Reece brings up at the round table soon, her convo with Stephen at the family tree painting!

Me too, I posted OOH THEY’RE TINY as it was such a ridiculous decoy.

I strongly suspect Reece will be offed tonight.

confusedldnwoman · 08/01/2026 12:16

Gutted Ross got sent home.

For the first time I want the faithfuls to win.

dayswithaY · 08/01/2026 12:22

I think it’s possible that we will end the series with a completely different set of Traitors. Stephen’s days are numbered and Rachel and Fiona are going to plot against each other, therefore exposing themselves as traitors.

PuppyMonkey · 08/01/2026 12:22

I think I’m more a Faithful For the Win type on balance for most series. I love it when they work it out but manage not to get murdered. Which doesn’t happen very often to be fair. Grin

C8H10N4O2 · 08/01/2026 12:26

I think the faithfuls might actually win this season because the traitors have not gelled as a team. Toward the end they need to reduce their own ranks but they don’t seem to be working together and still their only strategy is “cause chaos”.

Fiona is really overdoing the “little old lady” routine and its getting tedious on screen, hard to say if its as annoying to the other contestants. She is only 62 and whilst exploiting other contestant’s biases is a smart move in this game there is she is overdoing it and intentionally failing in the missions isn’t going to make her any friends.

I’m amazed Stephen hasn’t been banished yet. I can see why Amanda keeps suggesting Jade, she is more focused than many of the other players and thinks she has her quarry.

I strongly suspect Reece will be offed tonight.

But hopefully not before he mentions the family tree incident to other people.

What’s the relevance of 1934? Have I missed something?

In which case he wouldn’t be murdered, but its too late if he is their pick for last night.

There’s a book that keeps being zoomed in on - Who’s Who 1934

TillyTrifle · 08/01/2026 12:33

Fiona has a very high opinion of her abilities as a traitor, she seems to think she is an absolute genius. Yet her dithering on the task yesterday was ridiculous, she is definitely overacting the little old lady role. I had no idea she was only 62!

I like Rachel. I’d like to see her take down Fiona!

I felt so bad for Sam last night. It was really unpleasant leaving one person who no one chose to help, just sitting watching the task. It’s a game of course but that felt like a very low set up. Anyone would feel like utter shit about themselves after that and he clearly did 😢

WriterOfWrongs · 08/01/2026 12:36

Thanks for the new thread and helpful list, @CaveMum Flowers

I like Reece and hope he doesn’t go.

I’m finding their ages fascinating.

Reece is 27 but I thought he was younger. IMO he could pass for 21.

i can’t believe Fiona is 62, she looks but more so acts a lot older! I’d have put her at 70-75. She is a stark contrast to my 60 year old good friends.

I also thought Judy was older than 60.

And I thought Ben was older than 66.

Ooooh. I’d seen the who’s who but not the 1934 bit 🔍
