Welcome to Thread 5 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

Candidates for murder in Episode 6: Ellie, Faraaz, Jade, Matthew, Reece and Sam (Amanda was also a potential but was banished beforehand and Fiona and Stephen cannot be murdered).

I think that Reece is related to Mollie from Season 2. Looks like her, sounds like her, and similar mannerisms. Maybe brother.

How close are we to finding the traitors?

I would have definitely said Ellie!

It’s funny because my parents said fair means ‘light skin light hair’ and my friend said fair means ‘listening and deciding based on what is right’ and I thought fair meant who is beautiful. Three different meanings!

These lot don’t say ‘yourself’ as much as last year’s crowd but they DO SAY ‘I trust X explicitly’ when they mean ‘implicitly’ - i.e., I trust you so much I don’t need to remind you or it doesn’t need to be said. It’s bugging me!

On the second envelope/hidden connections theory, I initially thought it unlikely there are any more secret relationships and it was simply bad luck for production that the two they had were both broken up so soon.

But now I’m starting to wonder if Easter Eggs are in plain sight. The family tree in the hall is featuring heavily. Does anyone have a screenshot of it?

And the v first ‘happening’ (i.e. Netty exposing a connection with Ross) before they even got in the castle. Was that a huge clue that hidden connections are a key secret in this game.

Maybe they’re all one big extended family 😂. Interesting there are two police officers, and someone from a police family. And two barristers.

Weren’t there Easter Eggs in the celeb version. On the promo phots there were skulls etc on the fireplace to show who was an original/recruited traitor? Or was that discounted?

I think that was discounted. IIRC one of the pictures with a skull was Stephen Fry, who was never a Traitor.

Does anyone else think they fixed the team who won and who had mirrors that smoked? Just seems a huge coincidence that possibly the two most intelligent players are getting to ask the questions.

I don’t think they fixed the team that won, but I’m not sure about the mirrors.

I’m actually not sure it mattered who got to ask the questions. Unless the traitors are completely stupid they aren’t going to give themselves away by their answers anyway.

And I’m not sure anyone could have predicted Matthew’s questions.

Haven’t read everything yet. But, I’m sure that Jessie and Jade are connected, or is it just a coincidence that they both wear wacky makeup. And Ellie said she has lots of secrets! So more than just being Ross girlfriend

I've had a look at a picture of the family tree and the connections we know about aren't close.

Can't even remember the last time a tv thread was this busy!

So what bull will Rachel concoct as her questions to teh traitors or do we think she'll say she isn't sharing the info?

Ooh, I hadn’t even thought of that! She’ll have to come up with something.

Matthew can't reveal his questions so why should Rachel? Or they can bo both make something up.
