Following on from the last thread.

We're currently up to where Roy has been arrested for (allegedly) killing Lauren, and Roy's dog has been stolen and the thieves are saying the dog won't be returned until Roy admits his guilt.

Leanne is being drawn into a weird cult.

Toyah is arrested for criminal damage for attacking someone's car. (Someone who thinks Roy buried Lauren in the park!) And she doesn't seem quite herself. What is wrong with her?

Joel and DeeDee are on-again-off-again ...

I'm sure there's a few more bits and bobs going on, but there's plenty of space on this thread (and time) to catch up.

Maybe Bethany is working with Spider as an undercover agent and Lauren is in a safe house.
Spider will reappear and Toyah won't have to have an affair with Nick.

While Roy is in Wethie Clink, I wonder if Damon will take a wander along the corridor and say Hi. I remember he had a few chats with Roy especially when he was trying to get Sam onside.

I'm glad Addy was back, he and Amy make a good couple. I'm afraid it's only the youngsters that may be able to save Corrie. I can't see anyone watching these episodes in 20-years time as Classics.

I'd like the Roy story and the Toyah story to be done with now. Not seen Gail for a long while, I like her musings sometimes (without the simpering)

I think the Toyah story will rumble on. She’ll probably end up in prison along with Roy and Damon (who would make a great prison pal pairing). Eventually the entire cast will be doing time.

Spider won't let Toyah go to prison. He needs to come back and impregnate her. Or Steve is good at that. Cheer her up.

Surely Toyah won’t get caught. Nobody else has - half the street have buried bodies at some point!

I might have been hallucinating with the stress of the bail hearing, but did I just see a board in the bistro advertising rosemary and rhubarb flatbread? Nick picked it up and put it down pretty sharpish.

I’m confused about Roy’s prison. Can they really just phone out and ask someone to come immediately and visit them? Carla just knocked back her wine and went straight to the prison.

I thought Leanne was good tonight,for her, and regurgitating the slime balls words to Toyah was ace.

Why didn't they just leave Alyiah sitting down indoors/office in her last weeks she's always walking somewhere!

Leanne has always been a bit of a cow. Not surprised by the comment to Toyah. The cult guy is just encouraging her to revert to her true personality. She’s done a good job over the years of reinventing herself but she was always a selfish piece of work. This storyline is giving us a chance to see some proper acting from Jane Dansen who seems to have been stuck behind that Bistro bar for years.
Can’t see Leanne and Nick lasting much longer. They are mismatched. Think he would be better off with Carla.

The Toyah storyline came from nowhere and had no basis - surely all this would have come up when she was desperate for a baby with Peter ?
Roy - in prison for a murder with no body and no evidence .
Predictable- Toyah and Nick have affair .
Also thought there was some signposting that Gloria and Steve will match online dating ..
