Following on from the last thread.

We're currently up to where Roy has been arrested for (allegedly) killing Lauren, and Roy's dog has been stolen and the thieves are saying the dog won't be returned until Roy admits his guilt.

Leanne is being drawn into a weird cult.

Toyah is arrested for criminal damage for attacking someone's car. (Someone who thinks Roy buried Lauren in the park!) And she doesn't seem quite herself. What is wrong with her?

Joel and DeeDee are on-again-off-again ...

I'm sure there's a few more bits and bobs going on, but there's plenty of space on this thread (and time) to catch up.

I also don’t remember Ken having a stroke but I didn’t hear him slurring either. Must listen to him more!

In October 2016, Ken is shocked to see his son Peter. He accuses Peter of drinking and after their argument, Ken suffers a stroke and he is hospitalised. In early 2017, Ken's son Daniel is offered a place at Oxford University.

So it seems it was 2016, but Ken only seems to have sounded a bit slurred, for a few months (I think...) I don't mean to sound rude, but could it be because he is now in his 90s, and therefore his voice is sounding a little more weak/croaky?

Checking in and wanting to post this again as it’s been bugging me for a while.

I’ve been thinking this for a while about Eileen, her character is so vibrant and full of life in classic, she really is a force to be reckoned with, such a great strong character, now it feel like the actress is just going through the motions and reads the script in a monotone voice with no effort behind it, it’s like she really can’t be arsed to be there, maybe it’s the poor scripts and storylines which are a massive come down from who she used to be, a real shame.

I don’t understand why Carla/Nina etc haven’t taken the vid posted of Freddie to the police so he can be released?

Also yes Ken’s speech noticeably slurry.

And Eileen so different recently.

DeeDee has lost lots of weight. She's looking really good.

Deedee looks great, Eileen also looks great but has lost whatever it was that made her 'Eileen'.

Eileen is just exhausted trying to live in the house full of randoms.

Eileen actress may have other roles she is concentrating on. "cough"

Toyah and her yellow rose. She told someone on the street (can't remember who) that it was for Leanne to say sorry but when that someone asks Leanne if she liked her rose , Toyah will be found out for lying.

The tree she placed the rose on seemed to already have some yellow roses but they looked alive and healthy or were they artificial? Oh I should stop all this thinking and pondering.

I think I know the answers though. 😚😉😏

The yellow roses were definitely a thing at the place they were digging. They made sure they were in focus in the eerie 'Toyah wandering in the bushes' shots.
