Please can anyone recommend any 3 to 5 part drama/psychological thriller type series?

Any main channel, Netflix or Prime please?

I'm thinking of the sort of thing that is usually 3 to 4 parts and shown over consecutive nights.Channel 5 do a lot of these things - usually set in super smart houses the character couldn't afford. Sometimes they are longer but normally less than 5 episodes

i've seen lots but am sure there must be ones I haven't seen.

Guilt is a good short clever drama series, there’s a new series on iPlayer now and there are two previous seasons as well.

Oh I'd seen Malpractice advertised but thought it was the start of a full longer series so hadn't looked at it. thought it was like that one with the doctor back from maternity leave.

And Rough Diamonds - that's in Flemish, Yiddish, French and English.

I've seen all of these! I told you I'd seen a lot.

I thought Chloe was absolutely brilliant. One of the best of this genre and beautifully structured. Highly recommend to anyone reading this thread. This is exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for!

I wasn't super keen on Behind Her Eyes tbh. I've read the book and althought it wasn't a bad adaptation, the book was better I felt.

I thought there were more Ch 5 ones that I'd missed as they seemed to have a phase of them although maybe I've seen them all as I do keep an eye out for this type of thing.

I've just watched The Nurse on Netflix - 4 parts based on a true story (Danish with subtitles) which might fit the bill for you (drama / thriller based on a nurse who killed patients)

yes I saw that but I wasn't keen as it seemed a bit too likely to be Beverly Allitt depressing and sort of documentary unpleasant.

I'd also watched the first series of The Servant on Apple TV (mini-spoiler coming up (but early on this is revealed): couple with deceased child are using a therapy doll for the wife as therapy and hire a nanny) and the look of it was giving me similar vibes.

Is it depressing as opposed to interesting thriller?

I think if you tried Britbox you'd be very happy: Apple Tree Yard, Hollington Drive, Doctor Foster, Guilt, Safe House, No Return, Too Close, Flesh and Blood (this one I enjoyed with Francesca Annis and Imelda Staunton), etc, etc

@CrossPurposes Fortunatly, I've seen alot of those when first broadcast like ATY, Hollington Drive, Too Close. Couldn't get in to Dr Foster.

I'm against subscribing to BritBox on principle. I already pay for a TV licence and I think it's appalling that BBC content that has been largely funded by a tv licence is now on a subscription only platform. I know its not just BBC but the principle of the BBC involvement turns me off it. Signed Outraged of Tunbridge Wells.

A bit grittier than you list OP but if you haven't seen Blue Lights one of the best series (excluding Happy Valley of course) that the BBC has shown recently.

I would also recommend Malpractice which overlpas hospital drama with thriller / crime.
