So good! The actors are all fabulous- love King George and the young Queen Charlotte and Lady Danbury are wonderful too. Such an interesting prequel- can’t help but think that Shonda Rhimes is drawing a few parallels with Meghan- even though she denies it!

I was a bit meh about this, but have just watched episode 1 and am delighted they're doing the race to produce an heir. I've always felt that would make an amazing lighthearted drama (though personally I'd have balanced that out with one scene really showing the tragedy of Princess Charlotte's death).

It's such a lovely story. I think the way Rimes has set up The Great Experiment and talks about a lot of issues that faced (and still faces some) women of that time was very cleverly done. The Bridgerton-verse has arrived!

I thought all the young cast were fabulous. Especially the actors playing George & Caroline.

I’m on episode 3. Much preferring it to series 2 of Bridgerton, which I found very disappointing.

We are on holiday and it’s been raining all afternoon so we’ve watched 3 episodes so far, my 64 year old brother is really enjoying it. We saw some filming local to where we live.

Did we watch the same show? I can’t believe the good reviews - the performances are trash, none of the women of colour get happy endings (as per Shonda’s other shows) and Lady Danbury seems to have been totally rewritten since Season 2 when she was lecturing Kate about being the other woman.

I’ve had to stop watching. It isn’t a patch on Season 2 when it comes to performances or ‘heart’.
