One of the reviews said he was Nicholas Hoult crossed with Jonathon Rhys Myers with a dash of Tom Cruise- fairly accurate I thought. Definitely Tom C vibes when he smiles.

The thing I'm finding a bit sad though is that by all accounts the early marriage of George and Charlotte was very happy, and things didn't take a turn til much later..

I thought it was amazing, very emotional and a bit serious than previous series of Bridgerton. I really hope they don't make a second series, as I thought it ended perfectly. I did have a little sob.

Two episodes in and I’m finding it very flat. It just doesn’t have the spark and energy of Bridgerton. I’ll try another episode but I’m disappointed.

binge watched 4 episodes last night... Overall enjoying it.

Finding treatment of KG for his illness very distressing. Knew this happened but it's very uncomfortable. Episode 4, revised flashback, was also meh for me.

I binge researched the real KC & QCC & of course lots of key details were different (forgetting about race, like QCC was older than him) but ok, this is a fantasy-verse, so different is ok & lots is pretty similar. It would have been cool if they spoke German b4 arriving in England... QCC really did discourage her daughters from marrying. The only thing annoying me is the inclusion of young Violet, because she's very obviously not 65yo+ in main series, but will ignore the alternate chronology anyway.

I liked it, prefer Bridgerton though. I did feel emotional in parts. I think it's a really good spin off. Not sure if there could be a second though.

I liked it, I was a bit disappointed with the title sequence though, the Bridgerton ones are so lovely, QC felt a bit ‘Handmaids Tale’ to me.

I loved this and found the chemistry between king George and Charlotte beautiful and believable which is far more than I got out of the wooden acting leads with zero chemistry in bridgerton S2.
