JemimaPyjamas · 26/01/2023 13:55

thanks!

anyone wanting the Twitter link, DM me. As it's still sort of guesswork I am not sure if it comes under the category of 'spoilers' yet even though they look to be official pics.

Nevergotamrfrosty · 26/01/2023 14:02

I do think there is something weird about Neil though?

TokyoSushi · 26/01/2023 14:02

That's what they want you to think.

JemimaPyjamas · 26/01/2023 14:05

I have been talking to DH and we have a theory over how TLR will find Catherine and Ryan.

It makes sense that she goes into hiding or whatever the term is ASAP when it emerges he's escaped as it's obvious he is going for her, and also obvious that in RL this is most likely to happen (the police force won't be expecting her to solely fend for herself.)

However... didn't someone (who? I can't remember) say in the first episode something about someone in the police force being paid off or involved with the Kenzevics. So.... if TLR is now in league with them, is this some way of him managing to find out where they are?

Slimjimtobe · 26/01/2023 14:06

Thank you !
it’s just the best thing on the tv in an age !

ohdizzy · 26/01/2023 14:06

This may have been mentioned in the last thread but when prisoners go to court, are they not handcuffed to a prison officer to prevent escape attempts?

JemimaPyjamas · 26/01/2023 14:07

Sorry, Amazon delivery as I typed - I meant IS this how TLR finds out where Catherine and Ryan have been taken / hidden while the police look for TLR knowing he's out to get her.

It's plain rude. I hope you and your gang are very happy with yourselves.

Make sure the old thread is full. FLOUNCE

JaneJeffer · 26/01/2023 14:09

If they do hide out at Daniel and Ann's house then maybe Ryan has mentioned it to TLR during a visit and he goes looking for them there?

Xrays · 26/01/2023 14:10

I don’t think there’s anything weird about Neil.

I think if there was he wouldn’t have been so happy to say to Ryan he’d stop taking him.

JemimaPyjamas · 26/01/2023 14:11

I don't know how police protection works, but I am guessing that hiding somewhere with even vague links to yourself wouldn't be an option...? Also, the house / street on the promo poster isn't Ann and Daniels house.

Xrays · 26/01/2023 14:11

I thought this too. I mean they’re handcuffed when they go to hospital!

But I guess Tv land may be different!

JemimaPyjamas · 26/01/2023 14:12

@ohdizzy I wondered that but there have been quite a few court escapes so it's apparently not as far fetched as I initially thought!

Deadringer · 26/01/2023 14:13

I think Catherine is more likely to set a trap for him than hide away. If she is retired surely the police can't tell her what to do any more, only advise her.

JemimaPyjamas · 26/01/2023 14:14

Two Examples of court escapes

JemimaPyjamas · 26/01/2023 14:15

@Deadringer Good point! There's been a definite counting of days with this series so is that going to be a way of anchoring the storyline?

JemimaPyjamas · 26/01/2023 14:16

@Xrays I agree re Neil, I think he's one of the red herrings

Ulysses · 26/01/2023 14:18

There’s so many ways that Tommy's escape could and should have went wrong. I’ve had to suspend my belief into it and take it as the means for him to go on the run.
