There are no wasted words in HV, and this week Neil made a second mention of the bungee offer.

Ryan has always been a millstone round catherines neck; her fear that TLR's DNA trumps nurture is more than she can bear. If he jumps with TL she's free at last to live her own life, drive off into the sunset in a vintage landrover. (Paradise to some)

I do wonder if Alison will feature more in it. They built up her character and she has a good friendship with Catherine. And she’s such an amazing actress (aren’t they all). Hmmm!

A prequel showing Becky and TLR's relationship would be v interesting. He always denied raping her and said they had 'a thing going' - and Daniel suggested there was more to Becky than being an innocent victim.

There must be some big revelations coming up.

Neil was taking Ryan to the prison because he's a wet blanket, not because he's in with the OCG.
There won't be a mole in the police. I think Ryan will inadvertently let slip where they are to TLR, or leave to meet him and Catherine follows him.

Why has the wedding been pushed? Something must happen there but I can't think what.

And "revenge is a dish served cold" popped up twice in the first episodes with Catherine asking Ryan where he'd got that from. So a revenge base jump by TLR dragging the boy off malham cove maybe?

I do honestly believe Neil thought he could control the exposure if he took Ryan to TLR and pull the plug if it turned creepy/nasty. I don’t think it’s out of badness or even fear he’s done it; just to make sure Ryan didn’t go alone or with someone less suitable eg ex cell mate

So I've just gone onto iPlayer to continue my millionth rewatch and there's a Series 3 trailer, have you seen it? Has it been discussed? Or is that out of scope due to potential spoilers?

i have been watching cawood vids on the www on a loop tbh.
also i'm hoping that seeing as this is thread 4 and we've had 4 eps of hv that we don't go over 6 threads seeing as there's 6 episodes and then that will be a massive sign that sally and sarah can come and do a live chat on mumsnet seeing as we are so diligent and only have enough threads to cover the number of episodes.

also i wonder if james norton is putting that hermes bit of knit on vinted. that's got nothing to do with hv but am pondering.

also that suitcase was a whopper that jo was hidden in but now i'm happy that i only take a disgustingly generic holdall on holiday and not a black suitcase as i'd expect to unpack it (literally) and find a carcass in it.

And why's Ryan's name tattooed on TLR back surrounded in angel wings... surely that's a design only for dead people.

And in series 1 on the barge TLR says to Catherine "what I want is for you to live a long long time in agony" when he poured petrol all over himself and Ryan so I reckon he does want to kill Ryan, either murder suicide or just the murdering bit.

beckham got angel wings on his back for the first kid he had though. is it brooklyn. hmmmm. the beckhams seem so far removed from TLR.

I think some people don't like discussing trailers. I'm disappointed we've got to Thursday without a BBC trailer every half hour.

I've seen the trailer and the promo pic but haven't discussed it because of potential spoilers. Tbh, the trailer doesn't give anything definitive away but I don't think it would be fair to discuss anything that hasn't aired on the actual show.

I’m so glad there are other obsessors out there like me. Watching it week by week heightens the anticipation and I love hearing everyone’s theories. I’m going to miss it when it is over.
