These are views you have which you think no one else or at least very few others seem to have!

Mine are:

Superstore - I actually loved Jeff and thought he was hilarious. Sort of wanted him to end up with Mateo Blush

Gilmore Girls - hate Logan with a passion. He reminds me of the really arrogant rich kids I went I uni with. Everyone adored him because he was cute!

Friends - I actually liked Rachel and Joey together (no one hit me!) I felt like they brought out a lovely side to each other and actually respected each other.

Schitts creek - I actually found the show funnier before Patrick snd David got together (although I do love them). For me season 3 was peak!

Another Friends one - I didn’t love Chandler or ever find him that funny. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The Office (USA) - Jim Halpert was a bit of a prat, mainly for wasting so much of his family's money on pranks.

TigerLilyTail · 07/02/2022 11:44

The sex in Bridgerton was really bad. It was just porn sex with no foreplay and he only lasted a few minutes.

I totally agree with this! Found them quite schmaltzy. Don't think I could watch them singing Simply The Best to each other again as just cringe myself inside out. Everyone else seems to love that scene.
BiscuitLover3678 · 07/02/2022 11:54

@TheAnswerIsDontThinkAboutIt I do love them as a couple but I also cringe at that scene and olive branch!

This is Us. First 2 seasons missing their Dad and how much they loved him, fine. Later seasons still going on and on about how much they miss their Dad, very tedious.

Jack in general - so tedious

Buffy. I always thought Tara was a little on the controlling side. And something of a mood-tyrant, in a subtle way.

I find Frankie Boyle exceptionally funny.

Your Home Made Perfect. The presenter is an absolute hot mess. She snaps and snarls at weird times. She's absolutely fascinating but also clearly utterly bonkers.

Supernatural lost something when they got hung up on the biblical mythology. It became pretty turgid a lot of the time. And Castiel is terrible. God-complex (literally, at some points) manipulator of people, done with a soulful expression so we all feel sorry for him. He needs to get in the sea.

I did not find the Hot Priest in Fleabag either remotely hot, or convincing as a priest. In fact I tend to switch off if Andrew Scott appears in anything, I just don't like him.

I do not understand why Silent Witness is still on. Most of the stories are full of loose ends that never get tied up. And how many ways can we think of to get Sam/Leo/Harry/Nikki wedged into a police investigation so they can solve it?

SleepingStandingUp · 07/02/2022 12:19

😲😲😲 @NightmareSlashDelightful re Frankie Boyle and Castiel.

I don't think Father Ted is funny. At all. Not even remotely. Ever.

Agree and he is not as perfect as they make out either.

CornishGem1975 · 07/02/2022 12:25

I didn't even get through S1 of This is Us. I don't get the hype, it was so dull.

lightand · 07/02/2022 12:27

I dont like historical dramas. Any of them. Blush Actors just look like they are doing dressing up in costumes raided from the costume department to me!

CeleriacOfTheNight · 07/02/2022 12:28

I didn't mind the ending of Game of Thrones.

To me it’s full of stereotypes and trying too hard. Watching it is like trying to run through treacle. Just get good!

Friends- pile of shit and the most overrated tv programme in history

BiscuitLover3678 · 07/02/2022 12:31

Bridgerton - Simon was kind of attractive but not that attractive Blush

Agreed

See also The Office - absolute pile of steaming shite

Shitzngiggles · 07/02/2022 12:35

@drpet49 totally agree about Friends. I never got the hype about it and don't understand how it's had a resurgence with my 22 year old dd's generation.

Definitely agree! Don’t know why Beth has put up with every single holiday being about Jack and the Pearson family. Her dead father barely gets a mention.

I like Andrew Scott in other things I've seen him on stage more than once but I agree with you on him being deeply unconvincing as a Catholic priest. Though I think that was largely down to the writing, not his performance PWB has clearly never met a Catholic priest, and thinks it's just hand-wavy, vague 'C of E but with celibacy'. (Doesn't HP conduct a wedding outdoors in the garden at one point? That would be unheard of for a Catholic wedding it's strictly in a church only, apart from with special authorisation from a bishop, which would probably only be available if one of the couple were dying in hospital.)

But then I liked Fleabag a lot less than most people.

PuppyMonkey · 07/02/2022 12:40

I thought the latest series of Afterlife was absolutely cringeworthy and naff, everybody on social media was weeping buckets saying it was so poignant - the whole thing left me Hmm

ClawedButler · 07/02/2022 12:42

I think Davina McCall seems like a lovely woman and I think I would like her if I met her socially. But if she is in a TV programme, it's a cast-iron guarantee that it will be dreadful.

EllieQ · 07/02/2022 12:43

I agree with you about Logan in Gilmore Girls, OP, and would add that Rory’s behaviour at the end of season 5/ in season 6 is awful. She gets rejected for a job after completing an internship, and her reaction is to steal a boat, and eventually she drops out of Yale. What an overreaction! She’d clearly never been rejected for anything before and it showed that she was a spoilt brat. Really changed my perception of her.

I thought it was terrible too.
