These are views you have which you think no one else or at least very few others seem to have!

Mine are:

Superstore - I actually loved Jeff and thought he was hilarious. Sort of wanted him to end up with Mateo Blush

Gilmore Girls - hate Logan with a passion. He reminds me of the really arrogant rich kids I went I uni with. Everyone adored him because he was cute!

Friends - I actually liked Rachel and Joey together (no one hit me!) I felt like they brought out a lovely side to each other and actually respected each other.

I did not find the Hot Priest in Fleabag either remotely hot, or convincing as a priest. In fact I tend to switch off if Andrew Scott appears in anything, I just don't like him.

Same. He's always 'acting' in a very performative way. He doesn't disappear into roles. And not 'hot' in the slightest.

Fleabag was vastly overrated in any case, much like Killing Eve, even if a certain posh screenwriter can do no wrong for certain types. Jodie Comer was the only good thing about it past series one.

KellyABC · 07/02/2022 22:29

Fleabag massively overrated. Killing Eve boring. Bridgerton fun but Simon's reasoning around not having kids felt totally silly and unlikely and it lost me at that point. And This Country is just mean stereotyping.

Bananarama21 · 07/02/2022 22:29

Pretty little liars is overated couldn't get into it. Arias relationship with her teacher isn't romantic but predatory.

SocksAndTheCity · 07/02/2022 22:29

I very much enjoyed And Just Like That... and am hoping there's another series Grin

IcedPurple · 07/02/2022 22:30

Agree re Peaky Blinders. I so desperately wanted to like it that I tried twice but nope. Not for me.

Peaky Blinders should be right up my street because I love historical dramas. I too very much wanted to like it and I too also tried it twice but have now admitted defeat. I simply found it boring and just couldn't get into it.

@BiscuitLover3678

Another Friends one - I didn’t love Chandler or ever find him that funny. 🤷🏻‍♀️
😱😱😱 for me chandler was the funniest.... maybe because I’m a sarcastic shit aswell.... but that is defo an unpopular opinion... all polls I’ve ever seen always have chandler as the favourite miles in front of the rest. But each to thier own
Rupertgrintismyguiltypleasure · 07/02/2022 22:34

Downton abbey was a snore fest....
Game of thrones just wasn’t that good...
Goodness gracious me is so friggin funny... yes it’s a product of its era and maybe totally offensive but I don’t get offended about anything because life is too short to worry what other people think.

As much as I love schofe ...Stephen mulhern was way better presenting dancing on ice the other night.

NotYourOscarSpeech · 07/02/2022 22:40

@Rupertgrintismyguiltypleasure Surely the most controversial thing in your post is admitting you like Philip Schofield!!

AdoptedBumpkin · 07/02/2022 23:22

@Riverlee I quite like MBB. Smile

SinisterBumFacedCat · 07/02/2022 23:29

I genuinely miss civilian Big Brother and think 99.9% of the reality shows now are a poor and unnecessary imitation.

Bravo! A genuinely unpopular tv opinion!

Ted Lasso isn't very good

First one I’ve disagreed with - Ted Lasso is fantastic! @IntermittentParps, you’re wrong Grin

Theunamedcat · 07/02/2022 23:45

Jodies Dr who has been presented as a bunch of cliché bollocks woman cannot travel with one companion woman needs three (yes another Dr had more than one but ffs it's the first female Dr let her be stronger) her storyline are naff her arc us non existent I wanted to like her so much and they turn her into a pink brained idiot with a dildo for a screwdriver a fluffy headed "girl" who needs the men around to rescue her she is the DOCTOR she is the one who does the saving

Umm so yeah ^^ that rant

Holothane · 08/02/2022 00:24

Loathe comedy name it and you can guarantee it’s on my hate list.

Bad acting (esp the woman who also presents the Pottery Throwdown: awful), unfunny, didn't know who the characters were or why they're there. Nah.
Sparklingbrook · 08/02/2022 08:38

@ClawedButler

I think Davina McCall seems like a lovely woman and I think I would like her if I met her socially. But if she is in a TV programme, it's a cast-iron guarantee that it will be dreadful.
I can't agree with this. Long Lost Family is one of my favourite programmes.
thenightsky · 08/02/2022 08:41

@PuppyMonkey

I thought the latest series of Afterlife was absolutely cringeworthy and naff, everybody on social media was weeping buckets saying it was so poignant - the whole thing left me Hmm
Thank god it's not just me. Everyone around me were saying best season ever. No way... Worse season ever. They should have stopped at the 2nd.
Nishkin · 08/02/2022 08:44

I agree re Afterlife- apart from Diane Morgan, that storyline made it worth watching, rest of it was a series too far

BasiliskFace · 08/02/2022 08:51

@SinisterBumFacedCat

Matt Smith was the best Doctor Who ever
I agree with this. Also I liked David Tennant’s doctor at the time but hardly ever rewatch his episodes as I find him too over the top. And I don’t like Rose after the first series. I really like Jodie Whittaker’s doctor. My old school unpopular Dr Who opinion is that Adric has always been one of my favourite companions. I held this opinion happily for 15 years until the advent of the internet showed me how very wrong most people thought I was.
Ilovetommycat · 08/02/2022 09:10

I hate Breaking Bad and Peaky Blinders.
So boring.
I also haven't watched Dr Who since David Tennant left. The doctor should always be played by a male actor.

airbalonz · 08/02/2022 09:17

Never really understood the relationship between Gavin and Stacey (even though I adore the show) there was no chemistry or common ground between them? Didn’t seem like they could have a decent conversation.

CrimbleCrumble1 · 08/02/2022 09:17

Line of Duty-too complicated for me.
Succession-series three boring first few episodes so that got ditched.

Yeah this. My dd and I were having exactly this conversation. Someone like River's (Alex Kingston) character would have been perfect, a strong, smart, sexy sassy doctor.

Gavin and Stacey were the worst bit about Gavin and Stacey. I was more interested about what Pam, Mick, Uncle Bryn and Ness were up to.
Sparklingbrook · 08/02/2022 09:42

Normal People got rave reviews. I agree that Daisy Edgar-Jones and Paul Mescal acted their socks off and were quite brilliant.
It was adapted from a book where Sally Rooney wrote the most frustrating unbelievable storyline ever though, with so many plot holes and 'well that would never happen' moments it had me shouting at the TV.
