Nine Perfect Strangers - same author as Big Little Lies - anyone going to watch?

Starts on Friday on Amazon Prime, with Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy and other well-known names.

Trailer and review makes it sound intriguing and I love the first season of Big Little Lies so I'll definitely be watching!

I've just started watching this as I recorded it on Channel 4 so very late to the party .
I had to laugh @Ulysses description of NK "......ethereal waifness."
Spot on.

I've been watching this at tv pace so up to 7 of 8. Thought it strange that a series with Nicole Kidman in was being shown so late at night, not realising it had already been on a streaming service.

I'm a bit distracted while watching as have only recently heard in as a Radio 4 drama, and the tv version has little or nothing in common with the book plot, althought the setting is the same. Wonder how the tv plot will end it.

But apart from that have enjoyed it in a relaxed sort of way, once you get over how unlikely the set up is. Or maybe it isn't in the US?

They are all so unlike anyone I know that I sometimes laugh outloud at them.

And the theme music has become an irriatating ear worm.

Shame that C4 hasn't kept the early episodes available for longer.
