I’m absolutely not being sizeist nokingdingaling. - I think she is stunning and straight out of the 40s/50s film star box.

I am twice the woman that Jules could ever eat herself to in 90 years of cakes.

It is the manner of it all. It all seems a bit overly motherly and a bit intense and he always looks startled and nervous grinny.

I don’t understand people and I can’t really read people because I’m odd.

The I do bits = cheese
Vows = actually very sweet
Product placement = HEAVY like a pack of rhinos tramping through the hotel, which was name dropped too, making me suspicious that was a bit of a 'deal'.
Heidi = looked gorgeous. I'd like Heidi as a mate I think.
Wedding dress = lot of child labour gone in to hand gathering that tulle

Cyrell...she does need to do some growing up. She could totally have had the upper hand but just carried on with the same childish tune. I mean let's be clear I don't have any sympathy for Jess still, she was a twat, but Cyrell needs to learn to let go and rise above.

I'd also forgotten just how much of a sisterhood there was on S5, such a good vibe with those ladies, I would definitely have preferred to be with them!

Sounds like the final couch episode just drags over the same old crap though - does it?

Ahhh I'm mid series 5 and trying not to read spoilers but really enjoying it. I can't see any of them lasting the distance at this stage!!

I have just started season 5 too...

I’ve seen the Grand Reunion too and couldn’t get over the change in Lizzie ( and I don’t mean her weight ) Itdid make me feel really angry towards the producers though - they must have known that by showing Sam fat shaming her, by broadcasting it to potentially millions, that there would be a high chance of it leading to anorexia or some disordered eating. They didn’t have to show it at all.

The change in Lizzie is beyond belief and it’s so disingenuous for her pr to continue with the stories that she hasn’t lost weight, (it’s just that when she was bigger she was really ill )
She was massively fat shamed on the show, and it’s obviously had a catastrophic effect on her self esteem. Not only has she had a massive physical transformation, her insta photos are edited to make her appear even thinner, and her face is heavily altered. It’s so bizarre. Ines was clearly struggling with an eating disorder of some sort too. Surely not only evident in her tiny tiny frame and the revelations that she was carried between scenes whilst filming because she was so weak, but also her constant food references, even in her audition. She refers to men as snacks/ flavours. Any ixpert would surely realise she was far too vulnerable to take part in the show. She was quite open about the fact she had ptsd. Why was she allowed to participate, under the watch of professional psychologists?

It has been a long time since I was that small - and it involved questionable eating habits so that I could get small enough for a job.

Poor girls. I can’t imagine what it must be like having to be so utterly concerned about insta that you have to fiddle with photos to that extent.

I’m so glad I’m an auld ugly gimmer and no one sees me. I couldn’t live in the public eye at all.

There was one close up of Ines when it was quite clear she had the downy fluff (lanugo) on her face that is a result of a severely calorie restricted diet.

And that is a girl with eyes of such a beautiful colour she would look positively striking no matter how cushioned her cheekbones were.

Interesting interview with Lauren here, a lot about how much the producers tweak things and interfere etc
She tells people not to even consider the show unless you have a very, very thick skin

I have curly hair like Heidi unfortunately I look more like dragged through a hedge backwards rather than stunning like her!

The trolling is bad especially if they’ve been threatened. Deal with any threats individually rather than squeaking for compo.

I know I’ve been critical of some on here but judging their edited/non edited behaviour then you should be permitted to call it out.

Trolling threats should be taken up with the individual.

You can’t put yourself out in a reality programme and not expect comments (more so if you go rogue/arsehole/cheater/whatever) - it goes with the territory bruv.

Actual threats are summat different entirely and should be dealt with by police.
