We can chat about anything we like, and possibly, occasionally, maybe discuss the fairly crap contestants.

PotterHead1985 · 18/09/2019 20:28

Ok if them dishes was served to me I'd send them the hell back. They look mank. I wouldn't chance me hole tasting them

jay55 · 18/09/2019 20:28

The men's sauce was so vile looking. The wimmin did way better despite the harder job.

PotterHead1985 · 18/09/2019 20:29

@jay55 yessss

ellenanora5 · 18/09/2019 20:31

Thanks Halsall

I think the ladies did quite well in that round

Here's the weekly veggie pasta bake and cottage pit with bread and butter pudding round

PotterHead1985 · 18/09/2019 20:31

@ellenanora5 cottage pit GrinGrinGrin. Sounds about right!

Halsall · 18/09/2019 20:31

Imagine if they do something other than a chilli and bread and butter pudding 😮

ellenanora5 · 18/09/2019 20:32

Although I suppose it will be meatballs

PotterHead1985 · 18/09/2019 20:32

Hope it's not the fellas meatballs after the last!

doadeer · 18/09/2019 20:33

Do workplaces seriously provide a full main dish and a proper pudding every day? Id be enormous if I ate that every day!

ellenanora5 · 18/09/2019 20:34

doadeer I know, it can be so predictable

haha sorry meant pie Grin

Oh yes the custard Halsall how could I forget

jay55 · 18/09/2019 20:35

Started a new job and the canteen has a hot meat and veggie option each day (£3.45) but no pudding.

PotterHead1985 · 18/09/2019 20:35

@doadeer for my sins I worked for Sky for 4 years and yes. They provided a full fry or cereal/toast/fruit etc for breakfast and then a full 3 course for lunch or sandwiches or wraps or salad if you were inclined.

doadeer · 18/09/2019 20:35

I spoke too soon!! Fajita wraps and burrito bowls! I nearly fell off the sofa in surprise

ellenanora5 · 18/09/2019 20:36

I think a lot of them do doadeer but I don't think we've had a school before

PotterHead1985 · 18/09/2019 20:36

Woulda been 4 year on the 21st this month

But now I am a carer to my mam

doadeer · 18/09/2019 20:37

@PotterHead1985 haha sounds like living the dream!

DH works for Google and their food is AMAZING but it's not unhealthy puddings like cake and custard every day

Halsall · 18/09/2019 20:37

Ooh Potter whereabouts were you? (At Sky)

OP posts:
PotterHead1985 · 18/09/2019 20:38

@doadeer there was always the healthy option (I lived for the sausages!!)

@Halsall I was in the Dublin office.

ellenanora5 · 18/09/2019 20:39

Do you know what drives me mad, when John said "who doesn't like a lasagne" well lots of people don't John, I notice this is said in an awful lot of cooking shows, I watch MKR and then contestants are constantly saying it "I mean who doesn't like a good kangaroo steak" or "who doesn't like oysters"

Halsall · 18/09/2019 20:40

Potter Ah right, thought for a minute I might have crossed paths with you but no (in a past life I occasionally had cause to frequent one of the London sites)
