Why do they keep saying cauliflower cheese and ratatouille are side dishes? I always had them as a main growing up. Am I the only one?!

I agree. You should totally not assume everyone likes the same stuff.

I think you should never just say you don't like something. Try it once, if you don't like it then that's fine, but if you haven't tried it you don't know. But if you don't like you don't like.

Although steak is a bit of a hard point. How you take it like.

@ellenanora5 nope not a jot. There's only me. Only child. Single parent family. My mother's two sisters are both older. One lives in the U.K. as do her kids. The other in Spain as do hers.

Cauliflower cheese can be main or side, same as macaroni cheese.

Doadeer, I've been to events at google a few times and always great catering in their canteens. Your chap is super lucky.

Best place I ever went to re: catering was a tiny company that had its own chef - it was near Christmas and I was offered Christmas lunch! Sadly didn't have time/opportunity to take them up on it.
