I’ve binge watched for 2 days as I’m ill. I never tire of it. I have one niggle: about Pete and Dawn’s children. Why do they look so young in the vow renewal scene? If they were that young, they’d have been round at Pam and Mick’s all the time too.

Was a bit weird yesterday seeing Pam Ferris in G and S followed by Matilda.

My favourite characters are Ness and Bryn. I like Ness the way I liked Father Jack. Every single thing they say is funny and you just want to hear more.

One of my fave lines is when Dawn disparagingly calls/says to Pete "look in the mirror, you pre-op"

Pam turning up and singing along to Take That "come, come, come into my arms" to disguise G&S shagging noises

Nessa's passive managerial style in the arcade "oh.....oh.......oh.......oh......OH!"

And many more!!!

Stacy though....she's get right on your tits wouldn't she. What a whiner!

Dawn and Pete do have children- I'm pretty sure that at the vow renewal ceremony the registrar says something like "I'd like to ask Dawn and Pete's children, Alex and Fiona, to step forward with the rings."

Bryn’s little speech to Stacey in the car on the way to the Wedding and the look on her face when she turns to look out of the window never fails to make me cry.

A fine piece of writing and acting.

I love the singing, especially Bryn and Nessa singing 'Somethin' Stupid' in the arcade.

I think Ruth Jones is so good- I love the way she looks genuinely uncomfortable when Dave and Smithy talk about what's best for Neil the baby.

Smithy and Rudy singing ‘American Boy’ cracks me up, but there are too many good bits to mention.
I recently saw Dawnie in London, she is gorgeous in real life and I had to restrain myself from squealing at her

I realised something today when watching G&S for the billionth time. Bryn always comes in via the back door. But its a terraced house where the houses all go onto a shared lane behind (we lived in one just like this in Cardiff). So for Bryn to come in the back door, he'd have to walk to the end of the road, walk back down the lane, and then come in rather than walking across the road to the front door (and Gwen certainly has keys to his house)

I love Gavin and Stacey! It’s just brilliant. Bryn singing along to James Blunt always cracks me up. Gwen is great in that scene!

I was watching the last episode of series 3 the other day and was wondering why Nessa didn't want baby Neil at the wedding. I know he's a baby but a bit odd Smithy looked after him while his mum was getting married.

This show would be my Mastermind subject. I have remind myself that they are not real people ! So many brilliant lines

I regularly text the DCs with "O. DC. What's occurring?". DCs are rubbish and don't reply with "Tidy".

It's poignant in places too - the letter from Stacey's late dad, the look Smithy and Nessa exchange after she's given birth to Neil the Baby...

I think we were meant to assume in the end that Smithy moved to Wales too. I'd love a feature length ep with them and their children. I understand that James Corden and Mathew Horne aren't on good terms though.

I think Gav asks Smithy why and he says something about her being scarred by watching her mum get married multiple times.

Love Doris. Loved her in high hopes too. Sad she's died as she had the best lines in g and s. She's a Welsh diamond
