I’ve binge watched for 2 days as I’m ill. I never tire of it. I have one niggle: about Pete and Dawn’s children. Why do they look so young in the vow renewal scene? If they were that young, they’d have been round at Pam and Mick’s all the time too.

Was a bit weird yesterday seeing Pam Ferris in G and S followed by Matilda.

My favourite characters are Ness and Bryn. I like Ness the way I liked Father Jack. Every single thing they say is funny and you just want to hear more.

Is there a reason Gwen offers everyone an omelette? Was it ever explained why? Or is it just her thing?

I love Bryn. And Doris. “Oi Doris, where’s the salad?”

I think it’s her thing; probably something one of the writers’ family always did.

It’s a great series because you truly like the characters even though they are so flawed as people. The best recipe for good comedy.

I really love the way all the characters are named after serial killers.

I think Ness (alright, da-how’s it going, alright?) and Pam (your dad’s out for the count and I’m going to put my ear plus in, so let yourselves go!) are my favourite characters!

I just love Nessa - absolutely everything about her.

And Pam - Alison Steadman always looks like she's having such a good time in that role.

Love the way they never explain things like Gwen's omelette making or Nessa's chequered career history .

I guess with the younger Sutcliffes, while you might think they'd be friends with Gavin and Smithy, they wouldn't be necessarily. Plus would you want to hang out with your parents if they were Pete and Dawn? Mick on the other hand would be a great dad to have.

The thing I find odd all these years later is that all the other actors seem to have become really famous apart from the ones in the Gavin and Stacey roles. They must be gutted!

My favourite show ever! Really wish they would do another series

I have never seen gavin and Stacey before. Ended up binge watching over Christmas. Haven't laughed as much in a long time. I don't understand how I've never seen it before. Everyone I've asked seems to have seen it.

Stacey was the porn actress in Love Actually.

Coffee I know he’s successful but he doesn’t seem to be everywhere all the time like, say, Alison Steadman, Larry Lamb, Rob Brydon, Ruth Jones, even Sheridan Smith. And obviously James Cordon is doing pretty well!

I just find it really surprising that the actors playing the title characters in a mega hit like Gavin and Stacey don’t seem to have done so well off the back of it as the supporting roles. Having said that, I’ve never heard anyone say that their favourite character is Gavin or Stacey, so I guess it makes sense.

I never tire of this show, really wished they'd made more seasons. I feel it ended too soon, so much more could have been done with it

Both do a lot of theatre.

I still find myself channelling Nessa on occasion - using a pedestrian crossing, traffic lights on red, idiot rolling forwards revving aggressively - stuck my hand out like a copper and unleashed an 'oooah' completely involuntarily.

I love Nessa on her wedding day.

I always felt gavin and Stacey wasn't actually about gavin and Stacey In the end - cause really I just cared about ness and smithy

I like the little sub plots too, like fingers and Louise getting together at the wedding and then later on when the boys go the Wales and they are all out clubbing. And the bits with Smithy's sister yelling out the car about not being with Darren Miller on the fire escape.
Total genius!
