I’ve binge watched for 2 days as I’m ill. I never tire of it. I have one niggle: about Pete and Dawn’s children. Why do they look so young in the vow renewal scene? If they were that young, they’d have been round at Pam and Mick’s all the time too.

Was a bit weird yesterday seeing Pam Ferris in G and S followed by Matilda.

My favourite characters are Ness and Bryn. I like Ness the way I liked Father Jack. Every single thing they say is funny and you just want to hear more.

I listened to it on my Couch to 5K this morning. Nice and slow to match my pace!

It's called "Gavin and stacey sountrack" (sic) if you are going to search for it.

thenextsmallthing · 03/02/2019 19:59

Thank you

Gwen just turned up on Classic Corrie!

BusySittingDown · 05/02/2019 06:55

Nessa said she had never learned to ride a motorcycle to Mick.

She said "I don't, Mick. Which is a shame as I loves a good ride."

prampushingdownthehighst · 05/02/2019 10:44

That makes sense!

Just started rewatching thanks to this thread.
Episode 2 - Bryan insisting on route-mapping to Billericay - Gavin’s face is brilliant!

Isitmybathtimeyet · 05/02/2019 19:43

I adore that scene. Memories too of trying to sneak glances at print outs from the work computer as I drove down motorways. As G&S ages, more and more of it sparks nostalgia.

DaveCoachesgavemetheclap · 05/02/2019 20:33

Some of us still print out directions and maps from the AA route planner Blush

MrsJamin · 06/02/2019 06:31

Apparently that route finding scene is the favourite scene of the actor who plays Gavin - they all say their favourites in , it's a good watch. I remember doing that from streetmap and thinking technology was marvelous!

I heard another podcast with Ruth Jones - she’s written a book (fiction) and also talks about Gavin and Stacey and her dad, who passed away recently.

Thanks for those links. Brilliant!

I've not read the full thread but this is my fave G&S moment ever. Just pips the line dance.

MrsJamin · 11/02/2019 12:37

My favourite scene
"Pete, are you already thinking about my bhunas?"

UnfinishedUsernam · 27/02/2019 09:13

The scene where Bryn reads the letter to Stacey (from her dad) always makes me cry. My dad died when I was 9 and often think about him not being here for such big events. I always fast forward it now.

Love the Doris singing Morrissey video. Grin
