I’ve binge watched for 2 days as I’m ill. I never tire of it. I have one niggle: about Pete and Dawn’s children. Why do they look so young in the vow renewal scene? If they were that young, they’d have been round at Pam and Mick’s all the time too.

Was a bit weird yesterday seeing Pam Ferris in G and S followed by Matilda.

My favourite characters are Ness and Bryn. I like Ness the way I liked Father Jack. Every single thing they say is funny and you just want to hear more.

I love how she keeps her entire outfit on, including boots, even when they’re all on the beach on Barry’s Island.

I love when Nessa's dad asks her how she's feeling about the wedding, and when she says she's "nervous as shit," her dad replies "I'd be nervous marrying him- he's got blood on his hands! ".

I've been re-watching Gavin & Stacey after reading this thread. I have the first 2 series on DVD. I like the commentaries on each episode, where you find out some of the behind the scenes details. I might have to get series 3 which I've just watched again on iPlayer. I didn't enjoy series 3 as much as the other two when it was first shown but it's good. I cracked up at Mick reading the poem at the wedding!

Did anyone else read in the news the Mathew Horne got hit by a train just before Christmas? Not injured apparently, thank goodness. I hope he's well and not in a bad place.

Just finished watching the episode in series 3 when they're all drunk & dancing to Madness. I've never noticed until just now that Mick is passed out on the settee wearing Nessa's blue top and Nessa's wearing Mick's purple shirt. My favourite bit of hat episode is the look on Dave Coaches face when Nessa's dad says he's got some porn in the car.

Funny, I'd noticed Nessa wearing Micks shirt, but not that Mick was wearing hers

Love the labour scene and I always cry at the birth. Think it’s the little look between smithy and Nessa and the music!

The music is fantastic throughout the whole thing really. Wonder if they ever did an album?

God I love this thread. Gavin and Stacey is my good place.

The only thing I don't like is how dismissive they are of Dean. Just been watching the episode where the Essex lads stay at Bryn's and they're pretty horrible to him. They just seem to tolerate him. Plus, Chinese Alan looks about 45.

@aquaviv We actually have a tv aerial company around here that has the slogan 'guaranteed satisfaction with every erection'! Always makes me think of G and S!
