Programmes that never get repeated

Every Easter I hope (in vain) that The Passion will be repeated on tv. It was in the late 1990's with Gina McKee and Paul Nichols and set in Devon, never even been released on dvdConfused. Does anyone else remember it? What other programmes have only been on once and you'd like to see again?

A Christmas Carol starring Ross Kemp around 2000 on BBC. Never released on DVD, or repeated.

I remember the passion.

I remember The Passion

John Sullivan's sitcom Dear John is never shown (although Only Fools is on repeatedly) and he wrote an amazing series called Roger Roger staring Keith Allen and Robert Dawes that never gets repeated

How about Life Without George? With the beautiful Carol Royale.

A lot of obscure stuff ends up on YouTube. Here’s the passion: I remember watching it at school and being horrified.

Ross Kemp as Scrooge sounds amazing.

Blakes 7. I was allowed to stay up late on a Monday night to watch it. I'd love to see it again.

I'd also love my dc to see some of the classic 70's children's programmes I used to watch. Mr Benn, Trumpton, The Flumps ....

Suzidean · 29/03/2018 23:11

The Ross Kemp as Scrooge, was/ is on ITV. It was on at Christmas 2017 on ITV3.

thismeansnothing As If was great! I thought of it yesterday for the first time in decades. We were driving through the Andalucian countryside and I thought of El Dorado (which my older brother and I LOVED) and remembered how much I, aged about 9, fancied the main character / villain, Marcus Tandy, then thought to myself, didn't he play the girl's dad in As If? Then I had a little 5 minute memory about how great As If was.

Should definitely be repeated.

Also My So-Called Life (sorry if anyone's mentioned this already).

About Face. It was Maureen Lipman as a different character each week. We recorded some off the telly. Long gone now.
