So, after last week, with the super posh Chloe-Jasmine, who has auditioned before (when she was considerably less posh), and Jay James, the ex-Navy guy who had already an album- who will Simon and his mates pretend to be astounded by this week? Grin

Will we see the mean side of Mel B? Will everyone stop fawning over Chezza? Will Louis utter a sentence that makes sense?

And where are the ARENA bits?!

So many questions, so little alcohol.

Off out to buy snacks- see you all later!

Evening raahh. I missed last week by being on holiday. I have left over prosecco to try help me get over any lack of arena action.

Raahh · 06/09/2014 19:30

Evening.

I'm still not drinking, so have peppermint tea. It's not quite alcohol. Grin

I will miss the first few minutes again due to Doctor Who overlap. I am sure I won't miss too much. Probably a long intro, followed by an adbreak Grin

I have booze and popcorn. Currently watching Mission Impossible in an attempt to get some good TV in me before the horror that is X Factor...

Raahh · 06/09/2014 19:40

Only in relation to X factor could Mission Impossible be considered 'good' tvGrin

I have half an M&S two dine for a tenner meal to eat when it starts. Pushing the boat out Grin

Raahh · 06/09/2014 19:48

Dh is in Scotland- he is taking part in a Glasgow/Edinburgh bike ride in the morning with a bunch of colleagues from work.

So I can watch without him falling asleep and snoring Grin

I'm having a quick bath, Dr Who is recording so once again

NO DR WHO SPOILERS DURING THREAD PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks
TheFairyCaravan · 06/09/2014 19:56

Evening. I hate Dr Who, still not go over the fear the Daleks put into me as a kid, so no spoilers from me.

I've had my pain killers, so no need for alcohol! DS2 is next to me doing his Sociology homework, so he gets his Chezza fix!

squoosh · 06/09/2014 19:57

I have a self saucing chocolate pudding to bring me some comfort.

squoosh · 06/09/2014 19:57

Dr Who is a load of old shite, no spoilers here either.

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 06/09/2014 19:58

Raahh - exactly! Grin

Although it's just getting to the 'good' bit now and I'm going to have to switch over.

So what are we hoping for tonight? Another Wagner? Louis' love child making a come back?

CalamitouslyWrong · 06/09/2014 19:59

You won't get any dr who spoilers from me. In fact, as the sky box is currently playing up, I may not even get to watch xfactor. Maybe it's a protest.

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 06/09/2014 20:00

Dr Who hasn't been the same since David Tennant. Stopped watching it after the first Matt Smith one. Watched the first Peter Capaldi and fell asleep. Nuff said.

CalamitouslyWrong · 06/09/2014 20:00

It seems the sky box has finally decided to comply. Only had to reset it twice first. Quality service from Murdoch there.

squoosh · 06/09/2014 20:02

I haven't seen it since Peter Davison was the Doctor, and even then I only watched under protest.

CalamitouslyWrong · 06/09/2014 20:02

I know this is MN sacrilege, but I really don't like dr who. Luckily no one in this house is bothered about it.

DS1 has joined me for xfactor. He's brought a book though. Grin

Raahh · 06/09/2014 20:03

I like Doctor Who.

But I watch any old tripe (as evidenced by this threadGrin).

I can't watch Peter Capaldi not saying "F Star Star cunt " it's just not the same

FelixFelix · 06/09/2014 20:05

'ITS VAGNER, LOUIE!'

CalamitouslyWrong · 06/09/2014 20:05

I refuse to accept that through the bloody keyhole is anything other than daytime tv.

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 06/09/2014 20:06

Ah the ubiquitous U2 opening music...

squoosh · 06/09/2014 20:06

Anyone who watches Through the Keyhole should be publicly flogged.

Millionaire Matchmaker, now that's quality tv.

CalamitouslyWrong · 06/09/2014 20:06

Thanks for reminding us that we could use #xfactor on twitter. We'd never have thought of it otherwise ITV.

Raahh · 06/09/2014 20:06

I put Keith Lemon and all his other alter egos in to the same box as Mrs Brown's boys and Towie- a.k.a- 'Shit even I won't watch'

It's quite a small box.
