I've got some but I've only used it once or twice and you are supposed to use it everyday. Will use it everyday this week and let you know!

cupcakes · 03/05/2005 18:05

That sounds just what I've been looking for! Am now going to do a search...
(have to rescue my winter legs...)

Flossam · 03/05/2005 18:05

I can't find it either

cupcakes · 03/05/2005 18:11

Boots website has it on buy one get one free.

cupcakes · 03/05/2005 18:12

Agghh!! Sorry - it's sold out at Boots

Roobedoo · 03/05/2005 18:15

I've been using it. Managed to get some from a big Tesco. Nice colour but actually more colour than I expected as the cream is white and shows no sign of the tan element. Only used it 3 times so far and you can see the difference (specially between my fingers as I forgot to wash them after - big mistake!) Easy to apply and don't seem to have any streaks at all which makes a change.

cupcakes · 03/05/2005 18:27

ooh, Sainsburys have it on bogof (sorry!) till the end of May.

Flossam · 04/05/2005 20:20

Managed to get hold of some!! Meet you back here in a week to see if I'm a nicer colour!

LemonDrizzle · 04/05/2005 20:21

I want to try it.

Gobbledigook · 04/05/2005 20:39

I've used it 2 days running now and I'd say I've got a light colour. I'll get addicted to the stuff if it really works!

Flossam · 05/05/2005 20:06

Day one - it smells like fake tan!! You know that kind of wierd biscuity chemical smell? I think I'll have to try and get used to it!

Gobbledigook · 05/05/2005 21:24

Day 3 - def got a 'glow' - I've only done arms, chest, top of back and they are def. browner than my legs!

You wouldn't think I've been on holiday or anything (yet!) but I've got a nice colour def.

Flossam · 05/05/2005 21:35

But GG, do you smell too?

emmamama · 06/05/2005 11:10

Managed to get hold of the last 2 bottles in Sainsburys.

Will give an update in a few days.

BTW, fake tan always looks fake on me, so we shall see.

yoyo · 06/05/2005 11:38

Are you using the light or medium? I am a fake tan virgin so will I definitely not have streaks?

Gobbledigook · 06/05/2005 11:41

No streaks yoyo because it's not that obvious a tan. I've got the normal to dark one but I have 'olive' skin I suppose - I tan very easily and go quite dark.

There is a slight smell if you really sniff hard enough!!!

yoyo · 06/05/2005 11:43

Did you have to do all the exfoliating and preparation too? Of course I do this every day....

Gobbledigook · 06/05/2005 11:51

Nope!

I've not done any preparation, I just put it on after getting out of the shower. The tan is not that noticeable that you'd get streaks - it's just a very light glow I'd say (but I've only used it 4 days).

cupcakes · 06/05/2005 12:24

Did first application (of the fair to medium) last night and am very pleased with results! Absolutely NO streaking, just a very light tan (the type it takes me a whole summer to build up to!). In fact I think I'm only going to use it once or twice a week because I think much more of a tan would look unnatural on me!
The dry bits on my knees have gone ever so slightly orange though so I think next time I will put on a heavy moisturiser (like Palmers cocoa butter) on them first.
It was very easy to apply and didn't leave any residue on my pyjamas. And I rather liked the smell - I didn't think it smelled at all offputting - just like a regular moisturiser.
It's the first fake tan I've ever used which has left no tide marks or streaks AND gives a realistic colour!
(although I was going for subtle, not a St Tropez look!)

Gobbledigook · 06/05/2005 12:26

Its' good isn't it cupcakes! I've not got any orange bits but I must admit, I use a shower gel with 'scrub' in it.

cupcakes · 06/05/2005 12:32

I do exfoliate a couple of times a week in the shower so I thought my dry patches would have been ok but apparently not!

hermykne · 06/05/2005 13:00

i ve put it on this morn and ihave to sya my skin feels lovely and softand the colour is great, v natural looking and no smell thats worth talking about.

my sis has been putting on every day and has now stopped as she is going a bit OTT with tan look!

like cupcakes says twice a week might be enough

Gobbledigook · 06/05/2005 14:17

Is your sister's tan really good then? I've deffo got brown arms and that's where I'm putting it mostly.

hermykne · 06/05/2005 17:52

yes her arms look realy nice, sunkissed and healthy, legs need a bit more but she is fair skinned.

Gobbledigook · 06/05/2005 18:51

Think I'll start putting it on my legs now then.
