I'm currently looking at my wardrobe and what I might want to update it for autumn.

I'm mid50s, 5'7" and size 14.

The shops are full of drab greige clothes aren't they. I suit jewel colours, so nothing for me either.

Way too early.
By the end of November they will be some stupid trend that I will get round to buying in the sale in February. By which time I’ll get a months wear, it’s all about what’s going to be hot this summer.

I am really struggling. I was in London this weekend and nothing inspired me. It's like we should all be dressing like the cast of Ludwig or Sherlock. Brown/greige and practical.

I keeping seeing the colour ‘greige’. Thought it was a typo but too many people one have mentioned it, so looked it up. It’s an actual colour!

I tried on this lovely Nicole Farhi trench style coat in khaki in a wool/cashmere mix at Tk Maxx. It's also got a funnel shaped button up collar. Looking online it's available in other colours. Nicole Farhi is meant to be relaunching her range this autumn. I'm wondering, but not complaining why it's all ending up in TK Maxx.

I’ve recently bought four skirts (one faux leather, two satin and lace and one wool), a couple of tops and t-shirts and even though I’ve lost a lot of weight I’m going to rewear my cashmere from last year but now oversized. No business buying any more (especially as I’m still dieting) but these are lovely statement pieces!

There is always lots of nice Nicole Farhi stuff at TK Maxx. It makes me wonder if they own the brand name now as you never see it anywhere else! I will have to Google it.

They are, I love the black and white jacket particularly.

I did buy it. Didn't feel like £150 worth. Sent it back.

I eventually found my perfect slouchy silver leather bag on vinted. RRP £99, BNWT on vinted for £30. It's been in use continually for the last week!
