I'm currently looking at my wardrobe and what I might want to update it for autumn.

I'm mid50s, 5'7" and size 14.

I don’t really need anything but I have got a new damson madder checked jacket and also a red one from Uniqlo waiting for the weather to turn. I also have a burgundy jumper from Uniqlo on the way that will look nice with my burgandy specials.

I could probably do with some long sleeve tshirts.

I want the leather straight leg trousers from M and S Autograph , I wish I’d have grabbed them when I saw them first as all the size 10/12 are now gone, on my wish list , but no luck yet . That’s probably all I need as I have a good stash of nice blouses, cashmere etc etc .

I don't either. I'd like a nice bag for every day. But so much choice haven't got round to buying one. I look.

I'm a reseller so reading with interest. I never buy new so it's interesting to see what people are buying. I just had a delivery of vintage jumpers that I am slowly getting on eBay but they keep jumping in my wardrobe

I'm looking for a silver leather tote bag. Slim pickings on vinted and now fearing it's a summer look and I won't find one until next year.

I've been picking up BNWT cashmere and merino all summer so I have a great knitwear choice. Also picked up some thermal base layers.

I've also just bought BNWT cord dresses in navy and brown on vinted which will get a lot of use over winter.

I do need some warm lounge wear as everything I had from last winter is now too big. Also need a couple of work dresses but it's a new job which I don't start for a couple of weeks so I need to see what the vibe in the office is first.

Nice boots OP. I have some Blundstones that are similar and wear loads. I also rarely buy new, I have some black, waxed Diesel jeans I bought on Vinted for autumn/winter. I need to sort my knitwear, I've some to sell and some to replace.

I hope to drift through the countryside - was going to be the Cotswolds but I’m going to avoid that area for now. 🤣

I want a beige check kilt type skirt before Traitors airs. I always covet Claudia’s Scottish castle look (despite being double her size!) Problem is I’m a shorty and most skirts I like end up nearly maxi length which is not flattering.

At the minute, this is top of the list, however

@petitpasta I think thermal base layers and knitwear will be my next buys. I'm reassessing what I need for wfh and quite an active lifestyle.

I love Claudia's castle outfits too! I wear quite a bit of indie/urban stuff combined with retro tweed/wool in colder months.

Just got a pair of Adidas Spezial Handballs in brown, and a Mint Velvet shawl collared cardigan in natural. Waiting for a liberty print shirt from House of Bruar and a pair of dark brown culottes from Boden. Definitely in my brown era!

I haven't quite got my head around the change of season, although I've stopped buying anything too summery.

I think I need some more long boots, although I do have a pair somewhere in the loft with straps around, which taps into the "pirate boot" trend. I had the most gorgeous pair in the 80s - all slouchy soft leather, with straps and ties - I basically walked through the soles in the end. <sigh>

I wouldn't rule out a lightweight/blouson jacket - I do have one, but it's denim, so doesn't work with jeans (not a fan of double-denim).

I had a jumper splurge last winter, so all set there. Looking forward to digging those out again.

Don't even think about the Sainsburys Tu one then. I bought it and was tripping over it it was so long. It was almost comical!

Ooh I always love this thread every year at the end of the summer. I always think I’m sorted for winter and then I find new things…

anyway my wish list is really just another pair of wide leg work trousers, some dark colour trainers for walking to work that aren’t that scruffy /sporty if I straight into talking to someone before I have chance to change into proper shoes.

I need some vest tops, but more for under my shirts that are a bit too thin alone as the weather changes but not ready for jumpers to work yet.

I need some jeans but I don’t know what shape I want. I need to go try lots on which is depressing.

Same, such a shame it’s a really lovely skirt for the money I reluctantly sent it back would have needed a good six inches chopped off the hem.

I've had to buy new uniform for two different secondary schools 😒so I don't think I will be buying much for me, but its nice to see what everyone else is getting. I do need some new trainers, so might have a look for those.
