Will check it out. I actually can't stand the way the sales assistants are trained to hassle you in Selfridges, more than other stores i've found. I know they are on commission but if i'm eyes down and happily spritzing away on the main display I find it quite intimidating when they get in your face and ask you if you are looking for anything in particular. Call me grumpy, but they should recognise when someone wants to interact and when they'd prefer to be left in peace. Still go in there to test things, it's not put me off, but I just have to brace myself for it.

Argh I hate that. Let us know if you sniffed anything interesting!

SOTD Malin & Goetz dark rum. Lighter, fresher and cleaner than the name would suggest.

Hoping it’s OK to join in here, I have the Comme des Garçon Sherbet: Rhubarb fragrance and really like it. I keep forgetting to wear it. I just went to check and apparently now it’s been discontinued, annoying.

4160T Aqua Tofana today. It has a slightly unsettling wormwood note that I really like. Doesn't last long but I might have to stockpile another bottle while it's still available.

Herrera good girl blush today. I got some samples of the flankers from this range as I love the vgg elixir. Nice, but not one for me... too floral.

Herrera are doing a very good deal if anyone is interested. If you buy a full bottle they give a 7ml mini( so decent size) to try first and you can keep this if you decide not to keep the fb. So it's a free mini stiletto bottle basically.
Free delivery and returns too.

I'm tempted to work my way through the whole range, although I doubt anything will take the crown of vgg elixir.

Escada Bali Paradise for me - very happy, sweet juicy fruit. Little young perhaps but I like it.

I had an email from Jo Malone to say that Orange Marmalade is back in stock. It was a (very) Limited Edition last year. Think I will have to bite the bullet and buy a full bottle this time.

SOTD NEYDO Blond Redhead - I purchased a sample from small aromas and absolutely love it. Its sweet warm and spicy, powdery figgy drying down to sweet and vanilla. Going to get a 50ml and going to try others from this house as had not heard of them before.

Bois d'ebene from mat prem. Lovely deep wood scent.

Also had vanilla planifolia on today, Lovely sweet green vanilla no banana notes but makes me think of bananas

My mum is visiting and surprised me with some duty free gifts - Le Labo Eucalyptus 20 and Hinoki hand cream, YSL Babycat and travel sprays of Diptyque Do Son and Philosykos ❤

Trying eucalyptus 20 today. It’s a strong, woody incense. Maybe a little camphorous in the opening but it’s not really eucalyptus forward. It smells like hinoki wood and gives Japanese spa vibes. Masculine leaning to my nose but still unisex.

thanks @paristotokyo ! I will! Eucalyptus 20 has dried down to a beautiful woody, aromatic scent. Less full on than the opening.

Montale rendezvous check harrods, spicy smoky oudy sweet, very montale which is an oud heavy, Arabian style brand.
Interested to get the discovery kit although they are a double edged sword for me I've realized as an I love I'll want the bigger size.

I’m going full on coconut today - coconut body lotion followed by the toasted coconut Sol de Janeiro 39. Might add some Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Coconut Breeze later if the weather warms up (sun is out after torrential rain yesterday, so it’s looking good).

Juliette has a gun. Given a sample and wow it’s so so nice. Trying to justify the price tag to buy even a 30ml bottle.

I'm packing for holidays. Trying to decide on scents has been a challenge. I've settled on Glossier You Fleur 10ml, Phlur Father Figure 10ml, Tom Ford Soleil Blanc 10ml and SDJ 39 body spray.

4160T Sexiest Scent today, in an attempt to persuade myself that it is summer really, after torrential rain yesterday.

Crivelli Safran Secret, saffron but smells like an iron when it's been left on, reminiscent of metal and steam. Lovely, don't know how they do it.

I was very surprised by Eucalyptus Le Labo. I was expecting something medicinal but it's not remotely like that :). It's really lovely

Good selection! I’m not usually one for the “your skin but better” scent category but glossier you fleur is really nice. Soleil blanc is great for a beachy holiday. Enjoy your trip!
