Earlier I was wearing Commodity Juice. I like it but I mainly get rhubarb and there are other rhubarb perfumes I prefer (particularly the Hermes one but also my new discovery, Shay & Blue Rhubarb Sandalwood).

This evening is Sol de Janeiro 62. Literally every time I put this on, my daughter tells me how good I smell. She’s 11 so loves anything SDJ.

Avant l’Orage by Maison Matine

Armani Si Intense on left wrist and the OG on the right. I prefer the original. It’s fruity and warm and there’s a hint of rose. Will def buy this (when budget allows.) The Si Intense is a bit powdery and I think I can smell cloves, which I’m not keen on. Currently in Norway, so not planning on buying anything. Bit pricey here!

Fragrance du Bois Santal Complet today, a lovely coconutty sandalwood. Really enjoy the scent but doesn’t seem to project or last very long.

Crivelli Safran Secret today which is a new one from the house. It blends two of my favourite notes, saffron and tobacco. Reminiscent of matiere premiere crystal saffron, I'm not sure I could choose between them, they are both lovely. I think the crivelli is maybe a little less 'out there' - just as well as I'm in a meeting with some new people today at work in a different office. In fact I may tone down a bit for the day - don't want to cause the wrong first impression. At my usual office they are used to it!

Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo today.

SOTD: Arancia Di Capri - only an EDT but I got lovely wafts of this on the breeze for the first couple of hours, then I could still smell it by sniffing my wrists.

SOTE: Bergamotto di Calabria. I think Bergamot is a type of orange, but this smells quite lemony.

Mat Prem Bois D'Ebene is scent of the evening. I can't decide if Mat Prem or Crivelli is my favourite house. Both are excellent in their own way. Favourites from Mat Prem are vanilla powder, crystal saffron, bois d'ebene and santal austral. They are strong without being OTT somehow.

Crivelli I love Ambre Chromatique and Safran Secret. Going off the Tubereuse Astrale, it's a bit cloying after a while. Love Crivelli for the inventiveness, but there's something very pure about Mat Prem and I seem to always go back to this house. So on balance I'd say they are the better of the two.

Mandorlo di Sicilia today. Didn't get much fruit or floral, but a very nutty opening and more vanilla on the dry down.

@IDontHateRainbows Might be one for your vanilla collection?

Some reviews on Fragrantica mention bubblegum and root beer. I'm not very familiar with root beer but I don't get any bubble gum.

Sotd 4160tuesdays clouds illusion

Thanks for the new thread. Wore Angels Share yesterday. I do really like this, it's one of my more 'grown up' scents but is still quite a soft subtle scent.

Today I forgot until half an hour ago so just had a quick spritz of SDJ 39 as it was to hand. SDJ is more of a body spray really and doesn't last that long but it's such a lovely beach coconut scent it immediately uplifts my mood.

Chloe vanilla planifolia today. Its a light, refreshing floral vanilla perfect for summer. Sweet but not sickly.

SOTD - Moonlight Cherry - new fragrance from Van Cleef & Arpels - I got it at the weekend as a payday treat when Harrods did 10% off. I love it - its creamy nutty and long lasting - imo better than tf lost cherry and nearly half the price.

That sounds wonderful not that I need more temptation.
I love a cherry scent. It may not sound like it would fit the bill, but Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl Elixir is a lovely cherry based scent. Quite deep and vanillary on the dry down. I still have some left of a sample which will do for now!

Penhaligons Castile today, a lovely warm citrus, for a day spent being boringly professional in front of people I don't know.

The mat prem discovery set is next on my list!

Angels share is gorgeous, such a delicious boozy apple pie scent. Lasts forever too

Was in a coconutty mood today - coconut deodorant, body cream and the Nest coconut oil.

A mix of MMM Replica Bubble Bath and Cacharel Noa. The Bubble Bath can be a little sharp on its own but Noa softens it and makes it more cosy imo

I thought the vanilla planifolia reminded me of something, it's jpg la belle, very similar fruity vanilla vibe, la belle is more pear-centric abd the vanilla planifolia a little softer but I love them both.

I'm in town later, and my tram stops right outside selfridges so I may have to have a cheeky dip into the wonderful perfume hall there. Although I can't justify any more purchases so strictly windows shopping.

Anyone got any recommendations?

@IDontHateRainbows ive heard good things about the dries van noten fragrances (rock the myrrh comes to mind) but I haven’t tried them myself
