It is actually a dress (you may have seen me debating it at W/E). Comes just about to knees.

Worn over black wide legged trousers

go on buy them and a selection of others

SlightlyMadSweet · 27/04/2008 16:59

Actuall I think a full length mirror would not go amiss.

I don't see myself full length until I take photos like that then I feel .

To be fair I was loosing weight but I have been battling a recurrent chest infection for about 6wks so havn't been swimming. I need to start again but I need to shake this chest infection properly first.

And aitch I work with about 60/40 men/women split.

I will check out Tescos for something similar. I would not spend £30 for work trousers. Actually I often find price a barrier to buying nice clothes. I don't know why really.

Have ordered a simplyBe catelogue to browse through though.....

No £30 is in budget if they really do fit.

I am not compromising on both budget and fit. IYSWIM.

but you wouldn't buy them if they don't fit... do you actually know how to buy clothes, SMS? 'mmm, this doesn't fit and doesn't suit me but it is cheap... i'll take it!'

SlightlyMadSweet · 27/04/2008 23:07

has this thread not told you the answer to that Aitch????

I hate buying clothes.

I normally end up gowing home with nothing

OR

Need something, can't find anything, get depressed about it, get moaned at by DP or DDs if they are there, then by the next thing that looks reasonable because I have to buy.

OR

see something when I am not intentionally clothes shopping (like that dress), love it and buy it.

TBH I have not found trousers to fit all dimensions (apart from those in the original pic actually) for ages. I have given up looking for an ideal fit and have cond of assumed I am going to have to compromise in that department.

SMS, you are my leg twin. Bless you.

AitchTwoCiao · 27/04/2008 23:54

where do you buy trousers, judge?
and yes, SMS, i may have mentioned once or twice that you should go to your tailoring guy.

JudgeNutmeg · 27/04/2008 23:59

Boden, Next, M&S. I have to get them all taken in at the waist and hemmed to a shortarsed length. I have a renaissance figure and am just not built for clothes.

AitchTwoCiao · 28/04/2008 00:10

i have to get those trousers taken in at the thighs, lol. [apple]
