Can you tell I’ve had lip filler?

Basically what the subject asks!
I’ve had lip filler a few times over the last three years and I love the look. I’d like more done to go bigger but then sometimes I catch a glance of myself and think it looks really obvious.

I really want to go a bit bigger but I’m nervous. Can you tell I’ve had filler? Would I start to look weird with more?

Maybe a teeny TEENY bit. But you look really pretty and your lips look nice. Smile

DON'T go bigger. They're just right! It doesn't look obvious actually! Not really. I may not even have noticed if you hadn't said! Smile

TomatoSandwiches · 12/10/2023 23:07

Yes I can tell.

Haggisfish3 · 12/10/2023 23:07

Personally I think any bigger would be really obvious.

Globules · 12/10/2023 23:07

I can tell you've had filler.

I've seen bigger.

If you like how it looks, you do you.Go bigger. Who gives a stuff what others think of you?

truptantripping · 12/10/2023 23:08

Yes for sure but it looks better than most

AzureBlue99 · 12/10/2023 23:08

Don't go bigger.

Ihatemondays1962 · 12/10/2023 23:08

Yes you can tell but it looks fine. Don't go any bigger though.

Twizzletoe · 12/10/2023 23:09

Stick where you are they currently look natural. Too much looks awful to my eyes, quit before you get to that point

Toobear · 12/10/2023 23:09

Yes I can tell. If you’re concerned about it being obvious, then definitely don’t go bigger.

minipie · 12/10/2023 23:09

I wouldn’t immediately think lip filler no. Now you’ve said it I’m not surprised, but (assuming you are fairly young) those could easily be natural lips.

Don’t go bigger, they look lovely as they are, and definitely are on the fuller end of natural now so I really wouldn’t go any bigger or they will look fake.

Sarvanga38 · 12/10/2023 23:09

It’s not usually how it looks from the front that’s the tip over in to ‘too much’ - how do they look from the side … ?

FreddiesTeeth · 12/10/2023 23:09

What's you reason for wanting to go bigger? The view from side on is ofter the biggest giveaway.

TomatoSandwiches · 12/10/2023 23:09

What kind have you had BTW?
I really wouldn't go bigger, they seem balanced against your jaw in that picture, any more and it would look odd imo.

JustWhatWeDontNeed · 12/10/2023 23:10

I can tell because you always end up with that giveaway allergic reaction look. You look swollen outside of your natural lip line.

Unless you want the super obvious look, I wouldn't go any bigger.

TheChosenTwo · 12/10/2023 23:11

i wouldn’t look at them and think they looked unnatural but now I’ve scrutinised a bit I think they look a little bit lumpy. But maybe everyone’s lips look lumpy, can’t say I’ve ever really studied anyone’s lips!
Anyway, they’re a lovely size and shape 😊

Soontobe60 · 12/10/2023 23:11

Surely the best people to ask are those who know you irl? People I know who’ve had fillers look very obvious. And it seems to be slightly addictive.

Fireisland · 12/10/2023 23:11

Yes, it's quite obvious

MakeMineADouble81 · 12/10/2023 23:11

I can't tell. I agree with the others though, don't go any bigger.

Raineverywhere · 12/10/2023 23:11

They are nice now, don't go bigger.

Mydogisamentalist · 12/10/2023 23:11

Thanks everyone! What’s concerning me is that line on my right upper lip. It wasn’t there until the last time I had it done and while I don’t mind it right now, I would if it got bigger!

If I could guarantee the line wouldn’t get worse I’d go for another 0.5ml but that line is really putting me off!

Opine · 12/10/2023 23:12

You’ve got a touch of migration on the top lip in the outer corners. If you go bigger that will worsen.
As it stands they look nice and very few would notice what I can see because I’ve fit a trained eye.

You also have to consider how your mouth moves. It’s possible to tell if they appear stiff or distorted on a still image.

Id leave it at that.

MrsPerfect12 · 12/10/2023 23:12

Side profile is key. It looks great from the front.

JamSandle · 12/10/2023 23:12

It looks natural. Don't go bigger!

DelphiniumBlue · 12/10/2023 23:12

Yes, it's obvious to me, especially on the top lip.

PickAChew · 12/10/2023 23:12

Borderline now. I wouldn't register it if you hadn't mentioned it. Any more would be proper fish lips.
