Can you tell I’ve had lip filler?

Basically what the subject asks!
I’ve had lip filler a few times over the last three years and I love the look. I’d like more done to go bigger but then sometimes I catch a glance of myself and think it looks really obvious.

I really want to go a bit bigger but I’m nervous. Can you tell I’ve had filler? Would I start to look weird with more?

yes I can, it’s the side view that always looks daft with a pursed pout.

They look good and not obviously like filler. Often it's really obvious. You don't have that ridiculous trout pout. I really wouldn't go any bigger, I think you'd regret it.

Just a tiny bit on lower lip. But don't have any more. I wouldn't have thought anything unless you pointed it out.

I could only tell if you have that kind of white puffed up line close up and sideways on - partly because mine look like that at 61 and with no help whatsoever - it's one of the few bits of me I still like!!

Yes, it's that ledge/rim that pp have mentioned. Obviously it's your face but I think if you go bigger that will get worse, and the shadow above your top lip will increase which makes it look like people have a moustache.

Unfortunately what you don't get to see yourself is the side profile, and how they move (unnaturally) when you're talking or just pulling different expressions. That's where fillers are really obvious and sometime look pretty weird, I'd be more worried about if I were you, when thinking about having more.

You can always tell if someone has lip filler. Their lips protrude and there is always a shadow like a tache on the top lip. I wouldn't recommend more filler

I couldn't tell - I think they look lovely! I wouldn't add any more though.

Yes I can tell, not a fan of that bee stung look but its just about ok - any bigger would edge into too much imho.

That’s exactly what I was going to say. Your lips look nice from the pic you’ve posted. Any bigger wouldn’t look natural on you

I am not sure I would have noticed if I had not been looking for it. It looks nice 😉. I am slightly envious.

I can always tell lip filler. The wee ridge above the top lip is always the giveaway.

Yes and yes the line will get bigger and deeper. Your lips are starting to look a bit lumpy too. Sorry I’m a dentist so have a professional. interest.
When you have fillers you see them in the mirror when they are still so your image of them is different to what everyone else sees. Filled lips are so much more noticeable when people talk. They also cause slight speech impediments because the filler alters the lip position when you make certain sounds. Our receptionist at work had over filled lips but has now had them dissolved. Her speech is much clearer now.
Finally because the inner lip is exposed to the air it dries out making you constantly lick your lips.
Sorry but I’ve seen some truly awful examples.
Despite the claim that they dissolve, longterm they will become lumpy and misshapen. They will also lighten in colour, I see one or two older ladies who now have the staining done because without it their lips are a slightly mottled version of their skin colour.

I have done a bit of a survey with my Dh and his friends and DS19 and his friends. Men really don’t like overfilled lips, like most things cosmetic they smile and nod to keep the peace.

Looks lovely now and I wouldn't have thought - she has lip filler to look at you but any more would make it obvious.

Well I have had a close look and yes I can tell, but only because you asked. If you had just posted the photo to ask if this lip colour suited you, I wouldnt have clocked it, or if I saw you at work I wouldnt even notice, which is what you want.

Go any bigger and it would look very obvious though. I get a lot of women at work who frankly I could stick to a window. They look ridiculous, you dont! You look lovely and whoever did them has done a great job. Stick with what you have, they look really nice.
