I do. I'm hairy and sweaty and get deodorant gunk otherwise.

alexdgr8 · 14/08/2021 18:58

No.

dadde · 14/08/2021 19:01

I'm a guy and yes I do

happymummy12345 · 14/08/2021 19:06

Yes I shave under my arms, my arms, my legs, and down below fully every day. Every time I shower I shave everywhere. It makes me feel the most comfortable, I personally would hate not shaving daily. But each to their own.

Once on here someone commented about how much time it must take, but because it's done daily it takes hardly any time at all. It's only ever a quick go over because there's hardly any hair there anyway.

AuntieMarys · 14/08/2021 19:13

Armpit hair has never grown.
Legs and bikini line lasered.
Hollywood.

Alternista · 14/08/2021 19:16

IPL everywhere including underarms, can’t bear the look or feel of body hair, but each to their own.

MrsPear · 14/08/2021 19:21

Well I’ve learnt something new - I thought the under 25s didn’t do hair on bodies. Anyway 40 and i shave legs and arm pits daily.

RobynNora · 14/08/2021 19:22

@Madamswearsalot - I’d judge you for not shaving. I’d judge you favourably and feel impressed/happy for womankind.

Though really, it’s highly unlikely I’d notice if someone was shaved or otherwise.

Amazing that teens aren’t bothering now. They’re right that it does look cool too.i

Mangofandangoo · 14/08/2021 19:35

I shave because I think them being hairy is unhygienic - personal choose and no judgement for those who don't

EBearhug · 14/08/2021 19:40

This. I do aquafit twice a week, and a yoga class. Very few sleeves about, sometimes arms in the air, and I couldn't tell you if any of the others have hairy or hairless armpits.

CoastalSwimmer · 14/08/2021 19:47

I like the clean feeling of shaved pits so shave them maybe once a week (they don't grow very much, unlike my unwanted facial hair!).

My DD19 never shaves her pits, she has quite a bush of hair under her pits and usually wears sleeveless tops so it's very noticeable. I thought she was unique in her decision not to shave so it's comforting to see it's not unusual for her age group.

SummerOfComedy · 14/08/2021 19:47

I shave my armpits about twice a year, even then it's only an area of a twopence coin. I have never shaved my legs.
Just not hairy, never have been.
Now I'm older, I've had to pluck a few out of my top lip though. ☺️

poorbuthappy · 14/08/2021 20:04

You name it I've done it. Wax cream wet shave epilate lady shave. I have never ever not had a rash on my bikini line.

Pinkbonbon · 14/08/2021 20:17

When I was a teen I liked having armpit hair but I tried again there over lockdown and it mostly annoyed me. That being said I'll often go a few weeks between shaving it. But I'm not brave enough to display it.

I do however like having leg hair. As opposed to it shaved because I dont like stubble. I went out with proper hair legs the other day, like, fully grown leg hair - and felt ok about it. But it depends what mood I'm in.

Lovemusic33 · 14/08/2021 20:30

My almost 18 year old dd doesn’t shave hers.

I have tried not shaving but can’t go more than 5 days 😬

Mardycustard123 · 14/08/2021 20:35

I epilate. Means I have to do it about every 4-6 weeks.

lambsandlion · 14/08/2021 20:51

Have everything waxed regularly and always have. Feels clean, and (ready for backlash..) I do notice whether others are hairy!

haveibeencaughtout · 14/08/2021 20:56

I had an ingrown hair that became a huge cyst and required surgery. Twice. I wish I'd never shaved anything.

TheLeadbetterLife · 14/08/2021 21:32

@changingstages

Well fortunately *@3Br1tnee* she only lightly smells when you get right up to her and it's not a strong, sweaty smell, it's just a... natural smell? I'm not quite sure how to describe it. It's not offensive.

Unlike you. But fortunately she doesn't give a fuck about judge people.

I agree, it’s a nice, natural, clean human smell. No, it’s not flowers or lemons, but it’s not at all a stink.

I use one of those deodorant stones and i never get stinky, but maybe the smell of a human person offends some people.

I’m glad to read that the younger generation are breaking these sexist cultural norms. It’s pretty bloody cool whichever way you look at it.

Kintsugi16 · 14/08/2021 21:42

I shave daily
Never wax or epilate as believe it makes you more likely to develop breast cancer

shrumps · 14/08/2021 21:47

Daily. Arm pit hair makes me feel sick.

NotImpossible · 14/08/2021 21:49

Really? Never heard that before.
MaidEdithofAragon · 14/08/2021 21:53

Armpits and legs weekly. Bikini line never.

Shehasadiamondinthesky · 14/08/2021 21:54

Yes every other day otherwise they start to smell especially in summer.
I cannot bear masses of armpit hair either on men or women.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 14/08/2021 21:54

There was a huge issue with some types of anti-perspirant , I think Aluminium but I'd need to check.

Unless hair removal at below skin level makes it easier for this to invade the skin? But is the risk not there with a eazor scraping the skin?
