Where is your anxiety going to send you next after you have done this one, OP?
You need to deal with this.
There is probably a reason why it is not done everywhere (and only in London where the pornstars are), because no-one gives a shit cares because no-one notices. unless in Centre parcs according to MN legend

GrumpyHoonMain · 02/02/2020 18:22

The skin lightening industry is worth 19 billion mainly because people of colour have been brainwashed into believing darker skin is lesser. But even then the focus is on face and body creams not things for bumholes.

justforthisnow · 02/02/2020 18:33

As we've established paint charts are a useful tool for this region, for arguments sake which Farrow & Ball shade would suit? I'm thinking Broccoli Brown, or maybe Skimmed Milk White.
Should a hole new shade be invented? End of the Whorl?
99 Brown Balloons?

Thetellyisjelly · 02/02/2020 18:33

There’s also an enlightening article in The Sun about Tracy from Aylesbury who had laser vaginal bleaching in her lunch hour ‘as a treat for her boyfriend’ and the sex afterwards was ‘amazing’.
According to Trace , it’s the ‘ultimate makeover for mums’.
It’s £500 quid a session though... or you can have three for £1000. And I swear if I broke that pricing news to my other half he would be embracing the dark hole, all the way .

DecemberWisper · 02/02/2020 18:39

@justforthisnow Grin that did make me laugh

Or perhaps go the opposite route and have some carefully placed hair extensions .

DecemberWisper · 02/02/2020 18:41

OP “ if I can do something about it why not!”

Do something about what? That your anus is the colour nature intended?!

I’d suggest spending less time trying to stick your head up your butt.

Kn0ckOnTheDoor · 02/02/2020 18:49

are you bleaching the hair around the area or the actual bumhole?! wow im learning new stuff today.

mummmy2017 · 02/02/2020 18:53

Can I ask this.
Are you doing it for someone, or because friends are having it done?

NorthEndGal · 02/02/2020 18:59

For the love of fuck, leave it be!

picklesdragonisawelshdragon · 02/02/2020 19:06

I'm crying with laughter. As I recover from one witty response, I find another.

OP, I don't think you should bother, but thanks so much for asking!

mnthrowaway202020 · 02/02/2020 19:09

I assume OP has anal sex and is insecure about the colour of hers. Some people are much darker in this area than their complexion, just like how some people naturally have darker underarms/back of neck/knuckles etc. Due to the area, a brown anus may have connotations of being dirty and therefore unattractive - it’s obviously not, but that’s why some people chose to bleach it pink. And yes, some people grow pubic hair in this area.

I’m not saying I agree with intimate bleaching (I don’t) but I don’t really understand the confusion and hysteria from other posters here.

Personally I would say avoid bleaching your skin. The best case scenario could be that it does what you want but constantly needs to be redone - but the likely scenario is that it probably has other side effects that could damage your skin.

PanicAndRun · 02/02/2020 19:56

But how often does she see it for it to become an issue?

If it's because a sexual partner made comment then that it's wrong.

I just don't see how an arsehole or it's colour can be something to be insecure about, I don't even know what colour it is, much less worry that it doesn't match the rest of me.

MumUndone · 02/02/2020 20:04

How do you even know the colour of your bum hole?

Thetellyisjelly · 02/02/2020 20:05

Well as another poster mentioned further up, it can be the inner (sometimes outer) labia aswell as the anus. And sometimes (I’ve discovered tonight) people like the whole pink vibe because it gives the impression of a rejuvenated and youthful fanny (and arsehole).
So I imagine this will be one of those debates we’ll see a lot. Like having a fully bald foof. People will say ‘but whhhhyyy would you want to look like a ‘prepubescent girl’ ?!’and then there will be lots of ‘I do it for me’ ‘it feels good’ and so on and so forth. And then probably after that , everyone on naked attraction will have bleached genitals, much like they mostly have no pubes now.
And all the kids will think that’s normal and feel their brown/ purple/crimson /rainbow shades will scare off potential shag partners.
So best to buy shares in pink wink or whatever sooner rather than later.

screamer1 · 02/02/2020 20:05

Which one are you?

slinkysaluki · 02/02/2020 20:07

Only on Mumsnet Grin Grin Grin

SharpieInThe · 02/02/2020 20:20

"Are aresholes not pink?"

Harsh lesson for a Sunday afternoon.

labazsisgoingmad · 02/02/2020 20:20

if i let a partner dtd there he should be grateful i am up for it and not start complaining about the colour down there people in glass houses and all that

dementedma · 02/02/2020 20:25

Maybe different tones are different flavours. Y’know, for rimming....

I’ll just leave that thought there.

DeRigueurMortis · 02/02/2020 20:32

Perhaps the OP has a trip to Centre Parcs coming up?

dontgobaconmyheart · 02/02/2020 20:32

OP there is more to life than worrying what men think off of the back of the huge fucking set up that is misogyny. Spend the time looking into how you can stop playing into it and free yourself from it by not pandering to it - because that is the only way. You do not exist to provide other people with a sexual experience similar to porn and anyone who thinks you do is not worth bothering with.

As an aside, colour variation is natural, that part of the body contains mucous membranes and should not be mucked about with. I am sure your arse hole is perfectly normal, porn is not real, images are photoshopped- you wont ever get a result as good as you will if its digitallly altered and will make yourself miserable in the process.

Save yourself the angst and the money, spend the arse bleaching money on a pizza and enjoy life!
