What do you think of my wedding dress

Getting married in 3 weeks, low key affair. Just the 4 kids and the 2 of us in a registry office.

Bought a dress I love but DD14 has said she hates it and I look like something from the 80s so has given me a crisis of confidence and thinking maybe this is the wrong choice!

Would appreciate some impartial and objective views.... thanks

I love it, its gorgeous! ❤

YouWereRight · 27/11/2018 20:31

I love it, and you look amazing. It's the kind of thing I would choose if I were getting married.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 27/11/2018 20:33

Think it’s fab but I wouldn’t expect a teenager to like it - if you loved it then don’t be swayed

Cuzcothellama · 27/11/2018 20:34

I really like it & if you're comfortable and love it, then you're the only one you've got to please.

ChikiTIKI · 27/11/2018 20:35

It's a cute outfit :) if I saw someone with this outfit I would think "they look nice, must be a special occasion"

Have a lovely wedding! Xxx

Andcake · 27/11/2018 20:36

Really like it. It's your day!

RedDeadRoach · 27/11/2018 20:36

You've got amazing legs! I don't like the sleeves personally but the bodice and skirt is beautiful. If you feel good in it, go for it. Maybe get someone to take some photos of you in it and see if you like it in different poses?

TheHodgeoftheHedge · 27/11/2018 20:37

I think it’s fabulous and really different :)

IWannaSeeHowItEnds · 27/11/2018 20:38

I'm sorry but I don't like it. I certainly don't think it is special enough for your wedding.

Hassled · 27/11/2018 20:38

That's really lovely. Ignore your DD - teenage girls exist solely to suck all your self-esteem away. It's a great dress.

GinIsIn · 27/11/2018 20:39

There is an awful lot going on - I do think it’s perhaps a bit busy. And there is a bit the air of a 70s negligee about it - sorry!

pinkhorse · 27/11/2018 20:39

I don't like it sorry but there'll always be someone that doesn't like it whatever you wear. There's no outfit on earth that everybody will love. Wear whatever makes you feel good.

HolgerLowCarbingLoser · 27/11/2018 20:39

It’s a lovely dress and in my mind is the perfect thing for a registry office wedding so it’s a yes from me as well! Smile

TranmereRover · 27/11/2018 20:41

It’s lovely and entirely suitable and with good hair / makeup you will lift it further. Great pins. Enjoy!

plaidlife · 27/11/2018 20:41

Honestly it's not my style and I agree with your dd, but it doesn't matter a jot. You like it, it is your style and your wedding. Style is personal and you aren't going to get everyone to agree. Wear something you love and have a great day.

moredoll · 27/11/2018 20:41

I really like it. I'd add a belt.

RavenLG · 27/11/2018 20:42

What plaid said basically.

MrsMrsMrsMrs · 27/11/2018 20:42

It’s lovely! I wish I had legs like yours!!!

SilentIsla · 27/11/2018 20:43

It’s gorgeous. You suit the soft floatiness of it and the shoes are lovely too. Have a great day.

Calzone · 27/11/2018 20:43

Sorry but I agree with your daughter.

KingIrving · 27/11/2018 20:44

Sorry, but you asked for honest, impartial views.
It looks made out of dusty curtains .
You have a great figure, don;t hide it.

Beaverhausen · 27/11/2018 20:44

Sorry I do not think it looks good on you at all, might be a lovely dress but it does nothing for you. I am so sorry to be saying this but it is not a good look.

This is going to sound really terrible but I thought it might be your husband wearing the dress.

Villanellesproudmum · 27/11/2018 20:44

I’m not keen but it’s your day and your dress you don’t need to please anyone but yourself.

starlight45 · 27/11/2018 20:44

I like it, very pretty, but what do I know I'm old?! (45)

animaginativeusername · 27/11/2018 20:45

Dress looks lovely on you, love the colour, and shape.
