I am very tickled at your definition of a sexy bloke Fosco, now being at an age when a "good, reliable husband who does the washing up" is to be valued infinitely more than any amount of cool guys with perfect cheekbones.
The Sexiest Scent on the Planet, Ever. (IMHO) is lovely but doesn't strike me as particularly seductive either. Though Tanya Sanchez says the smell most likely to lure men by the nose is bacon, so maybe the aroma of lemon meringue pie is equally enticing!
Perfumes from 4160 Tuesdays that I'd think of as more seductive tend to be darker and spicier, or powdery amber types so I would choose Midnight in the Palace Garden, Pillow Talk, Sleep Knot, Tart's Knicker Drawer and Oriane. But this comes with a disclaimer - when, for research purposes, I asked DH which scents he would class as seductive, he turned a wondering look of bafflement upon me rather as though I had asked him to come up with a formula for world peace.
Bluebell I'm really sorry to hear about the bad news.
I hope you're being looked after in real life. Enjoy your Liberty Advent calendar. I think a lot of us tend to feel guilty when we spend on ourselves in a way we wouldn't when we spend the same amount or more on gifts for DC and other family. And we shouldn't. Oh, and as a violet fiend you might like to try 4160's Goodbye Piccadilly - violet, leather, patchouli, vanilla, and lavender - I mostly get violets and leather, and it reminds me of a brighter, lighter Jolie Madame.
MrsMac I hope the asthma settles down soon.
. Be warned, in my experience, medicos tend to pounce on the information you have a cat and instantly declare you must get rid of it. Which, of course, I haven't. I think my asthma would be a lot better if I lived somewhere with less air pollution. Only that would leave the problem of how to support ourselves...Wheeze and eat, or don't wheeze and starve...What a dilemma.
OneNight it is you I have to thank for Fancy Nights! It is gorgeous and I do love a cheapie that smells a million dollars. Great recommendation.
Pest in amongst the very clever blind sampling talk I mentioned you are very welcome to some of my L'Atelier Bois des Grasse Fleur d'Oranger Baie Rose only the thread was zipping along so you may not have spotted it. PM me if you would like some.
SOTD is Jean Paul Gaultier Classique in Eau de Parfum on one wrist and Eau de Toilette on the other. Unsurprisingly, they are very similar but EdT is sharper and sweeter in the top notes and EdP is more powdery. EdP wins for me.
